The Covid Squirrel has heard that we're looking for black French players who's surname starts with a capital N followed by an apostrophe like N'Koudou, N'Jie, N'Dombele....something like that anyway. They are serial winners and will undoubtedly do well in the Premier league even if there is no precedent for such. We might miss out on N'Pogba which is a shame.

Players like Hojeberg, and other low price 'bargains' won't be of interest this Summer, if we can't sign someone French with a capital N as above, then we're going to go for world class talent, to back up Kane instead. The squirrel can't reveal sources by one is Argentinian and sounds like Dybala and another is Brazilian with a surname Coutinoh (anagram). I will confirm everything just after it's confirmed by the club.

Out.

We are actively trying to offload Lamela. But offers are loans, or derisory proposals. His preference would be Roma , and If not Roma, then still Italy.

Zara is NOT happening! Josè from the noises; does not want Him. Sarr of Watford is of interest. Opinion is I can’t see it happening, due to fee they would want.

there is not much happening that is not in the press

Holberg should be tomorrow, serge we are talking to Milan but still a way to go ,with Aarons coming in from from Norwich a strong possibility

We want 2 rb , lb , mid and a striker

Tanguy will only go if we get the 42 million back , the Korean defender is 50/50 happening

I can tell you now covid has has cost the club a lot there will not be mega signings on mega wages , we are looking at 5 different strikers as possible back up to Kane

Dragon is on point on everything! Not sure about LB though, as that is one area Josè is happy with. And we have extremely high hopes for the youngster (name slipped me - Cirkin) Josè has been raving about publicly and privately. Kim complications is his end! Press seems to be on form this year. Aaron’s heart is coming here, and I heard this month’s ago. And he spent a lot of time chatting to our staff and players after FA Cup game. And at that time, something I mentioned behind closed doors on here, one of the Norwich directors was awestruck with our stadium, and said he felt he would be our player in the summer.

Concern for Josè, he likes him. It is the serious lack of height that is a concern to him. Serge wants to move on. We may end up having seriously reduce what we want to bring in another RB. If that deal is taking too long, it is not clear if we will sign RB as cover, as Tanganga is seen-as back up. But! Josè really wants abother RB! And sees that as priority. Problem is, Central defence, DM (DONE) striker are priorities as well. It is making the money we technically do not have work magic by wheeling and dealing. Aside from the obvious four clubs, the others are facing the same dilemma as us.

hope my synopsis makes sense.

We have tried many times for bale his agent is very difficult , he is on 550-600k a week with a year left and madrid want a large chunk of his salary taken care of next season

Kane and Tanguy on 200 a week are our biggest earners by a long way ,in the current Climate no way we are paying 300 a week plus

someone has to take bale this summer though so will see what happens

also

I don’t see zlatan happening at all , I know a couple of strikers we are looking at , I can tell you now the striker deals we are looking at are £10-20 million with wages in the 50-100k a week bracket

Re Dybala

I can tell you this last summer a deal was done and I mean done , the player even prepared a leaving video for juve fans

the deal did not fall apart to naming rights but his agent pulling a last min stunt which we could not abide by

if juve are in financial trouble which bearing in mind Ronaldo and Ramsey’s wages alone I strongly suspect then stranger things have happened

unlike bale who we have never got close to because of wages we have here so I think we have some chance

Regarding Ndombele

Jose thinks he is lazy and overweight

the only way he goes is if we get our 42 million back

From what I constantly heard, as early as couple days ago. He sees himself as an ‘8’. Playing position he played in the academy. Josè agreed, but it was about him playing that position he needs to be a goal threat, and his assists would have to go along with it. And as of then the entire coaching staff with JM were not thinking of selling him. Seeing him as a a ‘Tottenham blood’ kid. And also English born. And to get anyone near his quality (actually less) would be extortionate.

I know things can change, but cannot see it here. Unless! The club is forcing him out, and that is not the case.

The Goat hears we're interested in Matt Doherty. Aurier leaving would clear the decks for that one. Also that we're not in for Aarons.

Squad Ballance was always the objective this window. That in turn, has to be Ballanced with the home grown quota. With a limited budget this entails certain non key squad members moving on to make room, and the likes of Hart coming in to fill gaps.

Add into this Jose's wish to get younger players out on loan to gain experience and playing time, and also the financial constraints coming from Covid. This is without question as difficult as it gets in a transfer window.

The silver lining is Jose offering up a list of obtainable targets, and the fact he is listening to the clubs scouts and advisors as far as alternatives go. If everything pans out there is a still a lot of movement to take place. There will be no room for Jose to hide, the way things are planning out. Can't remember a time when DL was so determined to get a manager what he asks for, but then the players being requested are far more in tune with the chairman's preferred price range.

Expect more in in the next week or so as well as possible outs. No huge money superstar signings but players giving us options and balance to add to the superstars already here.

There is a lot of interest. But! Lots of clubs interested also. He would love to come to PL and here! But! Cannot see us paying the fee. Believed in excess of 30m. Unless! A creative one.

Trix has already mentioned the various scenarios. Loads of iron in the fire. Initially was told we were not looking at any LB’s. But it seems now we are. Reason Wilson not further advanced is DD on his med-history. Serge very close to leaving from what I know. Italy is his desired destination. Tbvh, cannot call anything with confidence right now, as loads of deals and contingencies lined up. Josè heavily involved with DL may I add. And so far so good.

Expect more revelations over coming days. Affinity, media Spot on near 100%. Caution! By now you know who the reliable ones are😉

Maitland Niles has truth in it. Too cautious to spill the beans, as best wait and see if anything comes of it.

EDIT: ‘Too cautious to spill the beans’ Tgere is more to the story, which makes it interesting.

Now the club have come out and denied the rumours. I can now disclose what was disclosed behind closed doors. He wants ideally to stay in London. His agent was trying to gear up interest from us to bid for him. He is pally with couple of our lads, from academy years. One particular family member was telling his agent that we were interested. That is why my comments were as they were!

Eze was on the clubs radar last summer and they were (pre corona) planning to make a move this summer but it appears that other clubs further down the table will be his destination as he wants first team football and spurs are prioritising other positions. Aurier close to leaving the club and Spurs in talks with several RBs (one more advanced) and CFs. After that we are looking to add CBs and other attacking midfielders (although depends on outgoings- Lamela, Foyth, Sissoko etc). No update on Winks.

We have an option on Aarons but he’s way down the pecking order Jose likes tall big athletic players the lepzig ,Atlanta and there’s one other right back( he is 6 ft or more ) i can’ post In front

we want two

we are in a one in one out phase , all the big clubs need players of the Wage bill but we have to make room to bring them in ourselves

still trying for bale as we have in previous summers but really bale would have to force it , Luca a poss too but I’m told we have bigger priorities right now in terms of filling the key positions

To be clear the lepzig player is klostermann

we are looking at him the Atlanta Rb plus one other

my height hint was re The third player who is at least 6 foot

Aarons could still happen possibly as a second choice RB but he’s way down pecking order

Nothing groundbreaking. But have to lay some dreams to rest. We will NOT be signing big money players! Not even 30m! Funds not free for that! Only way we spend that kind of money is if we sell TN. And that is nowhere near happening, as much as he wants out. And DL now prepared to get his money back. As things stand, no serious takers.

Gedson is highly, highly rated by Josè. It was all his work and negotiating to get him on such a remarkable long loan deal. And may I add again it is nowhere near the reported figures I am reading! Josè believes this year he will kick on, and continue to develop. As I said before, last year he was considered one of Portugal’s special talents. So give him time. Pleasantly surprised will be the chorus. He is highly rated here, and also by the players.

too many irons in the fire to call out specific targets as ‘happening deals’. Creative negotiations going on. As stated before, press not far off what they are printing.

The Goat has had multiple people, with very different sources and on all sides of the issue, tell us the same thing. Ndombele has been taking the piss for months and has no interest in training or playing for us. This is not the club briefing against him or trying to back a stubborn Jose. Ndombele's behaviour and attitude is awful.
