Thought I’d start this to save the Gentlemen’s game getting mixed in with those nasty soccer threads.

So it was a right old mixed bag for those interested in the game with the egg shaped ball (alright I know there are at least 4 versions and one has some super duper final or something tonight) but I mean Rugby Union for the purposes of this thread. First of all the French go from heroes in the pouring rain to zero’s and hand the game on a plate to Wales. Mind you if Les Bleus had a kicker the Welsh still wouldn’t have won.

Then the Scots, who’ve rediscovered the game in recent years, trounce the Italians before letting them get a few tries at the end. Finally England’s 1st team free from injuries turn up all brave and quick and nasty in Dublin to beat the Irish - second best team in the world, in a fantastic game. Us English should get carried away because it’s the first time we’ve won in Dublin for donkey’s and played really well, but not cocky and over confident because it’s just one game, but the signs look promising for the World Cup in Japan this Autumn.

So post all your Rugby stuff in here....we’re getting to the sharp end of things soon.

England take on the best that France has to offer this weekend. But it’s on Sunday and you’ll either have to miss half an hour of our win against Leicester or the first 30mins of the Rugby.

The French have a load of very big blokes up front and smaller ones behind that aren’t as good as they used to be, and no-one apparently that is very good at kicking. So we should win an entertaining game at the cabbage patch.

In other news Scotland play Ireland and Wales get Italy..

England gave us a trouncing in the first half of that game. You look solid in every area. Was a great game to watch though!

We had the first team back fit. Including our ‘English’ Southern Islanders like the Vunipolas

Use will go well unless all English sportsmen have the football teams mentality and believe the hype Hahaha.

We'll bounce back today at Murrayfield. The lads will be pissed at their performance on home turf first game.

Well that’s the French truly done and dusted, 44-8 no mean feat, well played Johnny May and the boys. Probably a better game, and definitely better anthems at Murrayfield, between Scotland and Ireland, could have gone either way, but the Irish got themselves back on track. Wales beat Italy less than convincingly.

Next weekend off, so the potential title decider Wales vs England in Cardiff on 23rd February is the biggie. Wales unbeaten in 11 games, England with a point to prove, hostile atmosphere, great players and coaches. Too close to call? Nah England by 10.

Stunning couple of performances from the boys. Utterly dominated the kicking game in both games, be very surprised if Gatland doesn't wise up to that tactic, although when executed as well as we have done it, then it's tough to defend against.. Also mightily impressed with our defense, our line speed closing down the opposing fly half and centres is something i haven't seen from us, for a good 18 months.

Although the Welsh are at home and on the run they're on, they'll be properly charged up for it but can't see them turning us over if we play the way we've been playing.

We hadnt beaten Ireland away for 6 years. They were second best team in world, racked up 4 tries. Smashed the french. I have England to get 4 more in wales....win by 15

What a shit few days of sport on a personal level. We throw away a winning position against the Windies in the 2nd ODI yesterday. McIlroy (i’m a massive golf fan),after a blistering start to his 2nd rd yesterday throws that away last night, we lose to Burnley and England massively bottle that 2nd half against the Taffs. I’m now very drunk and gonna continue to get even more smashed in the hope that t’row morning I just have a raging hangover to worry about!

Where do you play?
Was lucky enough to be a member of a club in London for a while but had to give it up, became too expensive. So now generally down in the Kent area, Bletchingley, Westerham or further down too Hever, places like that, quite nice doing a bit of exploring. You play much?

That’s where all the big London City firms have memberships and golf days. It’s full of corporates and millionaire City types, good course though.

Yeah , when the sun is shining and a following wind.....anywhere that will have us! Don’t take it too seriously but maybe 20-30 rounds a year, off 17. Annual trip to Spain with some lads, where golf isn’t the most important thing!!

Golf is a fucker of a game, I used to play but ended up getting into too many ruckus with 'members' I fucking hate clubs, I especially hate fuckwit committee members who are generally inadequate wankers who like to wave their tiny cocks around pretending to be important. It also got expensive when I broke many very expensive clubs because the cunts would not send the ball where I told them to. Stupid game gets right on my thrupnies.

Meanwhile back at the rugby England can still win this Championship with a couple of victories over the sweaties and the Italians and a bonus point or two. The Welsh may easily slip up against the Irish. Hollow victory maybe but a good stepping stone/learning curve towards the World Cup.

That's mental annual subs. I was a member at a really nice club in SW London, that was about £3k a year, even Wentworth's nowhere near that much, although the joining fee will make your eyes water!

Yeah i used to be a proper fair weather player but now with our Winters barely being classed as winter i'm out most of the year, i ain't going out if there's any rain or strong winds, which is one of the reasons i hate links courses. Got down to 7 when i was in my latter teenage years but now off 9. Yeah we used to do an annual Portugal trip, as you say mate golf wasn't always the priority! Wanna get some cash together and go out and play some of the courses around New York, most of their championship courses are open to the public.

Did anyone see the Rugby yesterday. Well played Wales, although it would have been nice if the ref had let the game flow and Ireland had remotely looked like they wanted to try and win.

As it turned out it was all a glorious prelude to one of the most amazingly, astonishing, farcical, bizarre rugby matches of all time. Certainly at this level. If it were football England would have been 5-0 up at half time, Scotland then came back and led 6-5 going into injury time, at which point England made it 6-6.

Or in Rugby terms 31-0 up with 4 tries to 38-31 down and finally 38-38. I urge you to watch it, there are no words.

I watched all three games. Italy were unlucky I think, if they could find someone who could kick a conversion or a penalty they would do much better. Ireland? Maybe they had started celebrating St Patrick's day a bit really. I thought England were going to mullah the fuck out of the Jochs, you would have got a million to one on them not losing when they were 31-0. It wasn't the exciting finish it could have been, Ireland made sure of that, but some good entertainment.

What about this year?
One bookmaker 1xbet app will never be offering the best price on the market for every game, it is simply impossible.
