Can I be first to say hats off to Antwerp... they've been as fantasric as we've been garbage.
Totally agreed. They were the better side on the night, no doubt about it. Hard to single out one player (kinda the inverse of us, where everybody was crap) but was very impressed by their #4 (Seck) in particular.

Lo Celso is just the Argentinian Harry Winks, isn’t he?

He’s a mere fraction of what N’dombele is as a player.

It is concerning that we have an all mighty time against teams that are physical and push and shove and bang when we're on the ball. There is a blueprint to beat us, and basically any team in the word can perform it.

Was thinking the same... were bullied very very easily.

My god if there are any CB's available in the world at any level at Christmas can we please fucking sign them...!!!

Sanches is a travesty... Davies is not a CB.

I didn’t think Sanchez had a bad game. Davies had a shocker though.

Some jackass on this form suggested Davies could be our best option at LCB! What a genius that guy is.

Nobody can publicly shame his players like Jose can.

IF.....

.....This creates a reaction in the league and the players all turn up..... I am not that fucked by this result. The performance was still rag arse but maybe that was our blip.

The only good thing about that game was that it started at 7pm Spanglish time so I didn't have to sit up late to watch it. I'm not too arsed about the result, we should be able to sort out this EL group, but I am arsed about the fucking Yoyo levels of commitment shown by our so-called amazing squad of players. The commentators were banging on about how Jose had such a strong set of players to chose from and how this season could be special - yeah, OK, but if our blokes only give half the fucks of the opposition it will be just another Spursy season. Only one side really wanted that victory last night, Antwerp gave 100% for 90 minutes, the defending was fucking legendary.

I don't mind losing if all the players crawl off the pitch battered, bruised and exhausted, I just don't see that level of passion in most of our players. I suppose it's rare to see that level of commitment anywhere in the big-money football world these days.

even an early kick off wasnt enough to stop a half time nap through the 2nd half,I had seen enough after 10mins,you can actually tell how we will go (not the result) after 15mins,was same under poch,we just come out so slow in a lot of games.

minimum requirement, especially from 10 blokes that should have been trying desperately to get in the first team. Haven't done themselves any favours, Dele has got two months to consider his Spurs future (under Mourinho) me thinks.

He is done... its a shame that he hasn't got the balls to pull a performance out of his arse once in a while, but maybe this is rhe end of the road for him at Spurs.

Its mad because he was the only one dragging us through games when "our cunt" arrived.

Time for us both to move on maybe.

I didn't see the game, we are bound to have a particularly bad one now and again but should have the quality to pull out a result. We've had bad first halves before and gone on to improve (Ajax 2nd leg springs to mind). But instead of an inspiring half time talk, JM hauls off 4 players - apparently he wanted to take off all eleven. It's indicative of his lack of man management capabilities. We have a really strong squad, but we may as well only have 11 if the second stringers are all completely demoralised. We've had a good run recently only because two exceptional players have been on top form. Everyone else plays with a dread fear of making a mistake for fear of being called out in public.

Dele is infuriating, agreed @Don Diaz, we all know there's a top class player in there, but sadly THFC may not be the place for him going forward.

No. Lo Celso was our best performing midfielder for quite a chunk of last season (psycho tackles apart). Ndombele has had 2 or 3 games where he's shown a bit of what he's capable of, but needs to do an awful lot more before he's cancelled out his overall shitness prior to that.

Squad looks good, but in practice throwing them together just didnt work.Bale is getting a free pass,he was bang below average again, dele and he should be able to carry teams in games like this. Its not like they are awful players, just play awful together,it needs working out.Sadly now we dont have such an option to rest so many in other Europa games now.
