Slightly controversial take: Brendan Rodgers, while obviously a tit, is a right good manager.

Chelsea are fucking worthless. Couldn't even help us out.

Madison and Vardy look superb going forwards.
Madison is one of the best No 10's in the PL, he'd be the perfect replacement for Dele.
My first choice would still be Grealish though. The best young English player i've seen since Gazza.

Think we had a chance with both of them a year or two ago, but that ship has sailed now? Neto at Wolves? Not even sure that Mourinho want a '10' type player

Thanks to Levy we didnt get Grealish for, what was it, £20m ? But, I still think he'd be worth another punt, but realistically i couldn't see us getting him for less than £70m.. and probably want £200k a week. But, take the Bale wage out and the Dele wage out, why couldn't we make a bid ? He'd be worth it imo...

Yes, I might agree with you, but it’s Levy (his reputation) and Mourinho that will decide and my guess is that they would look for value. Sometimes it works Hojbjerg, Reguilon and hopefully Rodon and sometimes not Sanchez, Soldado, Janssen etc.

Yeah, I doubt he'd be interested in either of those players.

Klopp is completely losing the plot. Dean Smith was sent off yesterday for what looked nowhere near as bad as that.

Yes but Klopp is the manager of Liverpool FC and the usual rules don’t apply to them. They’re slightly above everyone else....

Fuck me, this really is the title we should have won. We won't of course, but we should have. Everyone is falling over.

Burnley were brilliant tonight. The whole team worked their socks off. Has anyone seen Klopp beating his chest and roaring in the opposition dugout lately ?
No me neither...funny that....

Heh heh.

Even by Liverpool standards he gets special treatment. It's like Mourinho pointed out back before the holidays--no way he'd get away with the shit Klopp does.

Fat Frank is out. Long live Fat Frank. Gotta admit I feel a bit bad for him. What's the point of hiring a first-time manager if you're not even willing to ride through a tough 5-game stretch? Mourinho has done more to deserve the sack than him. Teuchel could turn them around or it could be a disaster. Hoping for the latter.

That is one cesspit of a club... I hope Frank turns in them and tells it how it is... I know he won't because his contract will be tied in with an NDA...

Dunno much about Touchel, should we be worried?

He's a good tactician but he does ruffle management's feathers. Could be a good combo lol

He’ll probably get on well with some of their new signings given his background. But as you say if he couldn’t handle PSG politics it’s unlikely he’ll be at Chelsea more than a season or so.

I mean I hope I’m right when I say what has he really done considering Neymar, Mbappe and a host of other staff players. Two French league titles where there isn’t much opposition and a poor record in Europe. I think he’s a good manager but not sure he’s one of the very best.

He's a 'b grader' and nothing we should be worried about.

It's anybody's this year, I don't think it matters who the manager is.
Form will dictate... and to be fair that is usually the case, its just magnified by the lack of it thus far...
