Come on, have a go, it'll make you feel better. I think we're all a bit dead inside when it comes to football, but Sideshow Bob getting sent off will always be funny.

No mate, I loved every second of that game. I still love watching the beautiful game even if it means watching other sides. Seeing that dirty mop-headed twat being sent off was a moment of pure joy, seeing his thinning Barnett also make me chuckle, when I started losing my flowing locks I just shaved the whole lot of and was never really arsed, I am sure Mr Luiz will not be chuffed when he joins the brotherhood of slapheads! 2 red cards for the goons has to raise a smile?

There are still plenty of teams worth watching in the Premier League, maybe one day we will be one of them again. I'll be watching Leeds again tonight as a vaccination against the Spurs virus that will be spreading tomorrow.

Brighton are also very much one of those--another brilliant win for them over the dippers

Did anybody see Jesse Lingard 'shush' an empty stadium after he scored tonight?

That's next level fuckwit.

None of this season makes any sense to me. I think I’m living and dreaming some bizarre world. When I wake up I want it to be the start of the 1981 FA Cup final replay......

only surprised it took so long........suppose it's West ham fans after the ridiculous Soucek red card? It was VAR refs fault really, which is unusual in a case involving Mike Dean....

Edit: perhaps i should have read the article first, rather than being a prat. Seems Mike Dean has an ally in Lee Mason, why not suspend both of them for being 'unfit for purpose'

Watching a little of the Fulham game vs Everton.

Fulham is better than us.

The Fulham players have been digging deep for Scotty P. To be honest recently they haven't been getting the results they deserve.

If the Spurs players commited the way the Fulham players are we'd be winning the league. Mourinho will never get that from our players though.

I hear you.

Fulham have inferior players yet they are playing impressive, possession based football even against some of the big boys. It's unfortunate that some of those results haven't gone their way when most observers would say they deserved it. I find it surprising that they have only won 3 times in the PL. They look so much better & more organized than we do. Honestly, if someone came in & watched both teams play & was oblivious of the table, who do you think they'd see as the club with 3 wins?

It's mind boggling that our mantra is "give them the ball". The football is mind numbing even when Mourinho wins but at the end of 90 mins, we could at least say "we won" (or, would that be, we could at most say...?).

Earlier this season, there was a period of about 72 hours where I convinced myself that Spurs might actually benefit by having Mourinho. It went against everything I believed that was good for Spurs. And in the famous words of Pete Townshend, "won't get fooled again".

We need a Nagelsmann &/or Rangnick who are more aligned with the Spurs ethos. But I doubt Mourinho will be moving any time before the League Cup final in April. Danny wants to expand his trophy cabinet which at this time amounts to the size of one urinal.

...talking of trophy cabinets, before Abramovic arrived at the Chavs they'd won 4 trophies, we'd won 24. subsequently they have won 111 or something, we've won 1. I don't know the stats at City but I would imagine the proportions are about the same. We have got a magnificent stadium and training ground though and own a lot of property in N17, so that's good - especially if you're a major shareholder in ENIC or one of their brass plate companies. Not so much if you're just a simple Spurs fan.

I've watched a fair few Fulham games. They are actually pretty decent spreading the ball around. They just don't have anyone to put it in the back of the net. So many of their attacks fade away due to poor positioning around the box.

To be honest don't wanna say much more about our current 'style', but I think Mourinhos football mantra goes against everything really. It's shite to watch our players run after the other team. It's not beneficial to energy consumption in a game compared to having the ball bla bla bla. Really it's just wrong and also pish to watch.
