OK, this is a very old thread, but I couldn't be fucked starting one about the Dirty Dippers v the Cheating Chavs for this year's final. As much as I hate both sides I have to say that was a proper cup final. VAR was funny, disallowing goal after goal, yeah it's funny when it's happening to those two sides but I still want the football-killing pice of shit scrapped. Going down to the final kick from a goalkeeper in the penalty shoot out and losing to a kick from a bloke brought on as a last minute substitute because he was a 'shootout expert' was funny as fuck. Even more funny was Kepa Arrizabalaga was the Chelsea goalkeeper who refused to come off in the League Cup final in 2019 that this thread was started for. I laughed out loud,I did not 'lol' because I am a grownup who knows how to use real words.

Overall I enjoyed that game, the funny stuff did not quite make up for that sick feeling in the back of my throat when the Dippers won, but it was a good game to watch. Now we need to beat the fuck out of 'Boro and head to our own cup final.
