It's all over Twatter and elsewhere that Sonny and Gil have tested positive for COVID.

If that’s true I’m fucking livid- how difficult is it to take precautions and be professional on £200k a week.

They'll apparently miss the next 3 games as well.

Wonder if the bookies will take a bet on us losing 3 in a row again ..

I thought the policy was to ignore everything until it went away?
My dear colleague... UK Goverment policy maker is an esteemed, privaleged and complex position, only to be undertaken by those with the drive, will and commitment to dedicate their lives to public service.

The flip of the coin is to ensure that at least 50% of the people you are affecting are happy and the other 50% pissed off... its an integral part of the machine of government.

It effectively halves the inevitable problems/complaints immediately and builds a base of support totaling 50% of the population which we can hide behind while the dust settles.

Once the coin flip has been made we can then start the arduous process of ignoring the shit out of what both sides of the coin flip are saying and continue to search for ways in which negative outcomes for both factions can be milked for profit by us, our chums and their shell companies based in tax havens.

Wonder how it works. Military typically serve 24 hours a day so that would only be 2 weeks of service?

Urgh. Not great, but then when you look at the stats, he's only scored once in the last 5 matches with one assist so maybe we won't miss him that much ?. Obviously I'd rather he be in the side than out but if it means someone like Gil getting a chance then it could be a good thing.

On the flip side of that though the reason we've probably scored anything is with him being marked and creating the room.

We now know why Sonny was poor last season. He was playing hurt for NINE MONTHS ..

The article captures my feelings pretty well. There should have at least been some structure in place to basically make him deal with the injury properly.

With Dier also apparently carrying an injury for a while, it does make you wonder what the medical team are actually doing ..
