Must win game! If Palace can beat the goons tonight we can go 3 points in front! Only joking of course, or am I?

Yay! The Premier League is back - and our first game is a proper old-fashioned Saturday 3 o'clock kick off, I don't suppose we'll see many more of those. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the new signings can do, hoping for a glorious start to the season, hat-trick for Harry a couple for Sonny and Kulu and hope I like Richarlison, I will try very hard.

Frightfully decent of you old boy! I think I too shall forgo calling the chap a cad, bounder, rapscallion. and other equally hurtful epithets*. Everybody knows how fair and empathetic I am so I will of course give him the benefit of the doubt.

* I looked that one up in Google, I knew it either meant one of those things Charlie the Wanker Prince wears on his shoulders or wot I fawt it meant:

epithet
/ˈɛpɪθɛt/
noun
plural noun: epithets
an adjective or phrase expressing a quality or attribute regarded as characteristic of the person or thing mentioned.
Example: "Richarlison is often fairly awarded the epithet ‘cunt’"

He's not going to sway anyone's opinion tomorrey. He's on the naughty step for fucking around with flares the day Everton survived.

So, points on the positive side of the ledger IMO.

I am so confident and excited about this season I purchased a season ticket at the top of the south stand. I honestly believe we will make history, not sure what, but I think this will be our season.

Cannot wait to get the train into London tomorrow and watch us spank Southampton

I'm still debating having a punt on us winning something this season. I'm somewhat of a lapsed gambler but with the signings we've made and Don Tony at the helm as well, I keep thinking it might be worth it.

Obviously with Levy still being a cunt eternal it could all go horribly wrong but ..

So many records just waiting to be smashed. Harry is just 18 goals short of Jimmy's all time goal scoring record for the club, so that one is pretty nailed on and it would be great to be there when it happened. Winning a trophy, any trophy would be fantastic and we're going to win one this year, I can feel it in my dodgy arthritic knees! Enjoy!

Davies is fit to start; Sessegnon at LWB, Royal on the right. Otherwise the team you'd expect.

I’m surprised he didn’t throw at least one new face in from the start but it’s fine.

Certainly a game we should be winning handily.

Anyone have a double bet on Sessegnon and Dier to score? Lubberly jubberly.

I reckon there'll be a few more goals in this. Not a bad half, still don't see the point of Royal but Davies and Sessegnon on the other side look sharp. Kulesevski is the very bollocks of the canine, all over the pitch.

The atmosphere in the south stand is unreal, deafening level of noise.

Definitely more goals in this. Certainly looks like we're trying to play the ball around a bit quicker for one thing and the pressing is good as well.

Ha ha. Great assist from Royal, nowhere near a Spurs player, but it still counts?
