If we win we're through, I've forked out money to go to this, so can we not fuck it up please. I did the same for the away leg and the best bit about that trip was the lunch and booze. Just win thanks in advance.

For those not paying attention - Marcus Edwards our former wunderkid now plays for this lot and is a real threat. If he scores watch your telly closely I might be on it punching Levy.

Spurs win this 2-1 and progress to the next round.

Yep, sign me up, I'll throw in a euro or two - not many 'cos them Brexitories have fucked the quid up the back door and I don't not ,never, ever get many euros for my quids now. I'm supposed to be starting my UK state pension next month so I might be able to put the heating on for half an hour in the bleak winter, It's getting fresher now, I might have to start wearing shoes and long trousers in a month or two - spare a thought for us poor, forgotten Costa pensioners!

This game is guaranteed to be a good 'un cos I can't get it on my 10 € a month DAZN subscription wot I watch the PL on, the bastards have closed the loophole where I could pretend to be in Canada and watch all the Euro games and I am not paying 40 € a month on a 12 month contract to watch Spurs play European footy under Conte. Maybe I could start one of them crowd-funding doodahs - help support poor pensioners in need.

So desperately need to win this one so we can rest everyone for the trip to France. DON'T SIT BACK! Attack them, score goals, win the match. Easy breezey.

You want to look at Vidio via Indonesia. Got all the PL matches (including 3pm games) and Champions League. Works out about a quid a month.

Link it to a service called Control-D which is similar to a VPN but uses DNS instead for more accuracy and you’re laughing.

Putting $10 on a win because I don't like keeping my money

Feels like there’s a lot riding on this game. If we don’t win I expect Conte to vocal about how he hasn’t been backed. Which I think is bollocks, but the more vehemently anti-ENIC posters may not share that view.

A panicky 3-2 after conceding first then sitting back at 3-1

Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Højbjerg, Bentancur, Perišic; Lucas, Son, Kane

Nice to see Lucas get a start.

Hoping for a win but if we do lose another one I can see the anti-conte rumblings getting a lot louder.

Yeah on TV Edwards looked the best player on the field in our first meeting. I agree with you about the result, I think we’ll beat them tonight.

Well you just fucking knew Edwards would score against us, didn’t you?

What a brilliant little player he is.

We are not good at passing or dribbling. They look like wizards compared to us.

Sporting fully deserve this lead so far. We’ve done fuck all.

And here come the boos as well

Am I watching a team that has stopped playing for the manager?

Yep. The players looked fucked tbh. Sporting are getting everything first. They're well organised and slick. We look lost...

We look fucking lazy and completely out of ideas.

I don’t know, but they definitely look like they’re lacking a plan. We’ve been terrible in possession, but even when Sporting have the ball we’re just kind of putting them under token pressure, not knowing whether to drop into our half or to press. It reminds me of the team under Mourinho.

Brutal yellow. Missed a sitter then off his hand and in. Seems the humiliation should've been enough. Piling on imo.

I’ve been more concerned about our lack of effort when we don’t have the ball. There’s no press, no urgency and nobody seems to give two fucks that we are a goal down at home in a critical Champions League tie.

Disgusting.

Looking at Conte, he looks done.
I noticed that as well. You can still see him just on the edge ot the picture trying his usual micro-managing but there doesn't seem to be his usual intensity. More of a "ah fuck it" kind of vibe.

You know the stars could still feasibly align. If Juventus sack Allegri, which could be a lot closer now they're out of the Champions League, it wouldn't necessarily take a king's ransom to buy out Conte's contract as he's in the final year.

He leaves the club to "go home" and retains a degree of 'honour' as we won't have to sack him and we can bring Poch home while the players are away on World Cup duty.

Exactly. Our front five sort of amble up to put token pressure on them and Edwards and that other fellow drop right into the space to get the ball, then we’re fucked. It’s so bad.

We need to shake things up. Dier and PEH off. Bring on Sess and Skipp, switch to a 4-2-3-1 with Peresic on the right, Kane at the 10, and Moura up top. Sorted.

Conte might do that in the 87th minute when we’re two down ..
