Was genuinely worried that we were gonna get smashed but that has to go down as one of our best away performances against a really top side for a very long time. Every player stepped up today, barely any mental fuck ups, passing was pretty crisp, played with pace, moved the ball quickly, thoroughly enjoyable watch. Brilliant stuff lads. Special mention for the CBs, Madders and especially Kulu, who has won me over over the last few months. Buzzing! Now we just have to figure how to beat teams that pack the edge of the box.

Couldn't be much happier at half time leading 2 - nil but some games you just want to end as quickly as possible because all Spurs fans know what can happen. Even though we sat back a little more in the 2nd half, it was still a pleasure to watch & nerves didn't really come into play (as a supporter). Well done Ange & Spurs. A well managed match.

Yeah agree with that... It never felt nervy in the second half...!!!

Bit nervy end of the second half as they ramped up the pressure...

Btw, watching on Optus Sports and Tim Sherwood is still dining out on Spurs... He is an absolute whopper.

Kyle shown up for pace !!

Loved it and another tap in for Brennan!
Yeah Walker had already played 90 mins but it was brave of Timo to take him on. And he beat him.
Bravo Timo. Looks like he's not short of confidence in that regard.

What a massive, massive result & statement.

One of the commentators mentioned that Dr. Tottenham could heal Citeh's cracks but they are simply growing.

It really was and are City so bad or Ipswich and Palace so good?

But a brilliant watch nonetheless!

And anybody that says “Ange out” can fuck right off.

He’s made football fun again. There will be ups and downs as this great man goes about rebuilding the club but I am well up for it.

Yes and maybe we should get used to the odd Ipswich or Palace performance and appreciate the performances against City and Spam!

Made my weekend yesterday

I know, & it's inevitable, that other teams also have their blips but if we had won those two very winnable games, we'd be sitting second.

Yes ageed it’s annoying and we should have taken all 3 points at Leicester but let them back in the game with poor defence etc

Hopefully we and Ange have turned a corner!

Somebody used the term "hockey assist" in one of the other threads. I hadn't heard that term before even though I watch a lot of hockey, but now that I know it I feel the need to point out the fact that Maddison had a hockey assist on his own (2nd) goal.

All 4 of our goals were excellent especially the last one!

I think this is right, and not just because of Angeball. Bottom line is that there are a lot more good players and teams in the PL than 20 or even 10 years ago.

I’ve noticed that a few people have said that we only got the result because City don’t play a low block!

We got the result because we played well and it was an excellent team performance!

Hopefully a comfortable win against Fulham this weekend.

I think there is something to that, though. We struggle against teams who play a low block against us and fair pretty well against teams that actually play against us.

Fair points but this could be us turning the corner now!
