My issue is, that if Frank isn't given a crack at this then we're yet again going to have to start all over again...

I don't really care if Frank goes or not, but any one of these managers, and even Sir Bill himself, would struggle to finish in the top ten with this group of players in this Premier League.

Yeah he's a gooner, and just generally a dickhead, but Xhaka is better than any of our midfield players, especially in the second half. Enzo Le Fee is better than any of our attacking players, and he was in the Championship last season.

We worked hard in the first half, dominated possession, and had zero quality to even create, much less finish, chances. Chasing a game late and we're throwing on Dane Scarlett. It's a results business, and the manager will take the fall, which is fair enough. We have some good young players, but we were not good under Ange, and we're not good now, and we won't be good in the near term under whoever replaces Frank without a strategy.

Need to either immediately do what Sunderland did over the summer, which is replace most of their experienced players with better experienced players, or to just bite the bullet and keep building with young talent.

It's years of overpaying for average players in terms of transfer fee's yet paying them mid table salaries and expecting a miracle every season. And this extra £150m that could be spent on players in not worth a fuck unless we can pay top competitive wages to stand a chance of attracting them ahead of other London clubs....Complete waste of time.

I was just thinking reading Franks remarks about Johnson--it really doesn't seem that the manager has a lot of say-so in the ins and outs of transfers, yet he's the one who gets trotted out to answer questions about it. Which is fair enough, part of a job he makes a lot of money at, but still, it would be nice to hear what the plan is moving forward, and the manager is not in a position to tell us that.

I'd be surprised if pretty much all of those weren't Gray's passes. Bentancur tried a few but kept giving it away. I'm of the unpopular opinion that there's not that much the manager can do about things right now, but one thing I would do is drop Bentancur.

Perfectly put. The kind of player who you'd want to make a big deal out of if he decided to hang up his boots while he was still with us.

But then he definitely deserves the chance to go out playing for a proper club as well.

I think I read somewhere that he's already doing, or has done, his coaching badges, maybe he'll stick around after the end of his playing career.
