While I can understand the apathy, and the pragmatism towards this fixture... We still have to perform 90 mins of football, on some level, tonight.

Could this be the game that ignites a fire under our players and enables them to garner a modicum of confidence and churn out the few performances we need to remain in the Premier League...? We are after all, the 4th best team in Europe according to our UCL ranking! But again on league form, we're already playing Championship footy next year!

He won't be in the dugout, but will Mauricio Pochettino simply being in the stadium be enough to inspire anything that remains of that night in May 2019...? I'm clutching straws here, I know.

The "Croatian Deflation" hasn't worked so far, and I don't see anything between the white lines that tells me that's going to change. All I know is I don't think I can watch this anymore and I've not felt like that since the Portuguese Ego landed at WHL. I'm not sure brother... don't know if I trust our senior/first choice players to put in an honest shift, even if they are fresh... I might even just play the kids, regardless of UCL or Primer League. .. At least the kids will be hungry and appreciate the chance to play, they may show some heart and professionalism... instead of pointing at another player they may be delighted to be paid for the game that they love. They may actually play football !!
