My understanding is we wanted to pay lower the the agreed upon loan purchase fee, which i believe was 30 mil. We wanted to pay under 20, Bayern balked, and now everyone is stuck as nobody bid near 30 mil for him. Fun for all.

I only saw 10 mins of Robertson and he looked on another level to what else we have been shown in preseason games. I wasn't sure it was a wise move as he is obviously just chasing another payday but if he stays fit, he's a decent asset...

Ain't seen the 2 midfield lads yet, Tonali just bimbled round a bit in his 45 mins cameo..

I suppose we're not gonna get a real idea of how we'll shape up until we go live, day 1... It's a shame because I'd like to think we're integrating them all into a style, a system and a format that can be replicated across the various squads to bring through the depth we will need as the season goes on...

I'd like to see something a bit more real against the chaos on Sat... Something to actually get excited about...

Tbh I can't remember the last time I looked forward to a season as much. But you're right @Yid We need the tyre Kickers gone and get a proper centre forward in.
