Maybe he's finally gone too far.
Seems he & Trump are one of the same. The World has no need for these types other than as a reminder of how the pursuit of power, self-interest, & a lack of accountability can erode public trust & have far reaching consequences.

Player in Training.
They should be demanding his resignation and also an inquiry into his tenure, movement of money between federations, etc.

I almost don't care that another money grabbing cunt will fill his soon to be vacated shoes... I just want this one on the fucking scrap heap along with Blatter and Paltini.

It is funny that Qatar is the only person to support him (that I know of)

Isn't the Qatari dauphin in charge of the Asian conference?
Apparently the AFC head is Bahrainian. Very much cut from the same cloth, though. I think the PSG owner, whose name I forget, has expressed interest in FIFA presidency in the past, but the article I read this morning claims the Canadian in charge of CONCACAF, Montaglioni, is the odds-on favorite should Gianni get the bullet.

Interesting that Victor Montagliani is favourite to succeed Trump's friend.

Not sure if I've mentioned it here before. I cannot claim to be friends with Victor but I knew him through playing against him for years a long time ago. Nice guy. Wasn't very mobile on the pitch but you always had to stay close to him b/c if you gave him the slightest bit of room, he could score from the centre circle. His shot was that heavy & accurate.

When he moved into governance at Soccer Canada, he had all these visions of grandeur about changing the culture & "getting rid of the old & bringing in the new" at the top. All noble. He soon realized it wasn't so easy so he apparently moved on to the international level.

Last I met him was about 10 years ago at a Whitecaps match when he was with the Lenarduzzi brothers (soccer royalty here). I really hope that he wasn't too closely tied to Infantino & doesn't share the same mindset.
