I'd imagine they probably see us as the banana skin. Unless something changes between now and then they'll be favorites, but they still won't be delighted about having to play PL opposition away in the third round, especially at the end of a pretty packed fixture list.

Charlton at home in Carabao Cup second round

We have a home tie against Charlton Athletic in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

We have a home tie against Charlton Athletic in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The game against the Championship side will be played in the week commencing 24 August.
It will be the first time we have faced the Addicks since January, 2011, when we ran out 3-0 winners in the third round of the FA Cup.
An Andros Townsend strike plus a Jermain Defoe double saw us past the south London side that day.
Last season Charlton finished 19th in the Championship under Nathan Jones.
Ticketing details will be confirmed in due course.
