I think we'll hammer this lot around 1 or maybe 2 nil.

If only we had a decent striker... anyway, I foresee another win!

Team News & Injuries
  • Leeds United: Daniel Farke welcomes back former Spurs defender Joe Rodon to full team training. However, Noah Okafor (adductor) and Anton Stach (foot) remain major doubts after missing team training sessions. Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is expected to be fit despite a minor foot setback.
  • Tottenham Hotspur: Roberto De Zerbi welcomes back midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur from a three-match suspension. Defender Tosin Adarabioyo is also available following a calf issue, and James Maddison is expected to return to the starting lineup. However, Spurs remain without Savio, Mykhailo Mudryk, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert, and Xavi Simons.
(Apparently there's no emoji for a poppy, so had to use a Hibiscus)

These injury reports always serve as my reminder that Mudryk is a member of this squad.

Difficult game. They do like to get stuck into the opposition physically, and we've struggled against teams like that this season. The way they press should leave lots of space in behind as long as we're decisive in playing from the back. A result here, especially a win, would pretty much remove all doubt in my mind that we have really turned a corner.

We play like we have the last two days we kill them off in 30' (if we can finish chances). We let their press affect us then it could go sideways quickly.

Apparently Simons is said to be massively ahead of schedule in his recovery and might be back around late December/January.

It'll be a tricky game but if we play as well as we did last week, we'll get the points.

Team...

Porro's first start since Sept, interesting to see Gunter on the bench,

We’ve got away with that one. Clear penalty for handball ..

Why is this commentator so desperate for a penalty, it hits his shoulder in every camera angle.

Yeah I can see that now. Definitely shoulder.

Injured the player, very nearly conceded a goal as a result. Really don’t know what the VAR needed to see there. I did think he got a yellow card though

Surprised by that decision on the Bogle tackle.
I believed they would give a red after seeing the replay as Bogle took out both legs.
But not even a yellow.

I thought with Tel out & RDZ's comments on LWB starting a few weeks back, he might have brought him on.

Watching on USA Network (TNT kept fecking about), the Neville brothers are the halftime pundits, quite balanced to be fair.

Must be a SKY thing that they have to be tossers!

Of course they’ve already literally kicked one of our players off the pitch but overall I think we’ve handled their physicality pretty well.

This is potentially the worst referring performance I have ever seen and it’s not helping the game.

Game is scrappy, and then we will probably lose to a last minute goal scored by the guy who should have been sent off

There really does seem to be a “let ‘em play” mandate in the league this year, and it makes for a lot of games like this one

I do wonder if Senesi is sitting on the bench, again, wondering why he signed.

it's strange how Kudus can be so good and so bad at the same time
Well he’s the only player we have across the front that can actually hold the ball up. But it’s what he does after that’s the problem. No end product.
