Wow, what an afternoon, I'm exhausted - congratulations and commiserations to Wycombe, they deserved a draw at least and the TV revenue from it. They had the desire and heart, especially in the first half and played really well throughout. There never looked like 66 places between the teams.

A few other observations, fantastic Cup tie, just what the FA Cup is all about, loved all the drama. Some of the squad players like Onomah struggled but Wycombe didn't let them play, they're young their time will come.

Some good goals, good support (eventually from us) and just in case you missed it, we came back again, from 2-0 and 3-2 with 10 mins to go and with 10 men. Not too long ago we would have lost that game.

I'd the other place had not gone bust, today would have finished it off, can you imagine the comments and vitriol that would have been unleashed on our youngsters at half time and 3-2 down, no-one would have waited until full time. Much like many of those in the ground who left early....twats. Thank goodness none of us and any other proper Spurs have had to be subjected to the troll chat.

I do get all this fair play to plucky wycombe underdog stuff,but if i put it kindly they did put themselves about,we suffered at least two injuries,several ripped shirts probably,and all the commentators said was "that was good play to cheat there and take a booking",on more than 3 occassions too.If we had a law like rugbys punishment for a teams persistant foul play rather than limiting punishment to indidivuals they would have finished with 9 or less.And FPMSL at their manager "I saw a penalty that wasnt a penalty",guess he meant CCV`s error cos that was less a pen than their obvious body check on Janssen,even the ultra biased commentators said as such.

So yeah unlucky wycombe plucky fouling,cheating under dogs of war,stick to football next time thats what wins games.

I agree their tactics became increasingly rugbyesque and quite comical, but this is the FA Cup, big team vs little team etc. Need to be a little more generous to their commitment and effort in my view. It was a Cup final for them.

I have to say, I may be a little perverse, but I enjoyed every minute of the game, even when we were down. At risk of being cliched or whatever, it really was what the cup is supposed to be all about. Both teams were at it hammer and tongs, two very contrasting styles (their size and physicality is something we won't see all that often) and a very gritty comeback with our available stars coming through when needed. I think as fans we have to look at the game as a one-off, I don't think it's any good trying to draw conclusions about some of the younger boys in particular from this one. Just a wild, bizarre, entertaining game from start to finish, and obviously nobody would've begrudged Wycombe a replay at worst on that performance.

It was a paradox of a game,one of the most ridiculous performances and yet one of the most enjoyable.Quite similar to the west ham game.
As for their physicality,at times I thought I was watching the "bedknobs&broomstick" football match.

Their first goal was disaster after disaster having seen it again,Davies? gets intercepted again they break have a shot (harsh call here but..) which is going a few feet wide and vorm pushes it out for a corner.Maybe Hugo would have left that?Then the corner,Vorm actually makes a good choice and comes to double fist punch the ball away,maybe doesnt call?but Onomah jumps infront and doesnt clear the box with his header.Wimmer follows that rhino guy into the 6yd box whom CCV was marking anyhow,allowing onomahs header to fall to his man and volley home.Still if we hadnt committed so many errors it wouldnt have been such an intriguing game.
