just the rumours and jokes,he`s had a ruff week for a ref of his pedigree.Went down to 10 men after 7 mins , then went 1-0 down before Edwards scored , with 85 mins gone still 1-1 ......
colin have you any details on Bobby Madley resignation from the 18 premier league referees association .......plenty of rumours of him and Jack Russell , and I’m not talking bout theX cricketer

Yep, I believe this young man thinks he is the dogs doodahs. Not turning up for training, time keeping issues and authority problems need to be bashed out of him. The Poch says he shouldn't have compared him to Messi when he was 17. Maybe a loan will sort his head out, I am not holding my breath.I’m afraid to say that Marcus Edwards has joined Excelsior Rotterdam in the Dutch League on a season long loan. I hope that is not the last we see of him, but fear it’s last chance saloon at Spurs, he had a real opportunity last season at Norwich and didn’t even get a game. Poor attitude is regularly reported..

he has ability but is too maverick for poch is a polite way of saying what I want to.He wasn't on the pitch for long in the game they played on the weekend but he at least looked able to create something while he was out there. I think the Dutch league is a good fit for him, he can play against men in a team that needs to win but the league is less brutal than the Championship.

If you are a teenager and really believe you know more than the coaches with vast experience, you better be Pele,Messi, cruyff or be gone.
True mate, just think Poch and Edwards personalities dont match.Even if he does become a 1st team player Poch`s team&work ethic are different to edwards style of play.Reminds of Taarabt, great with the ball, lousy off of it.He's clearly had some personal issues but from afar it is hard to judge how much of this is unmanageable, particularly when he is still so young and not everyone has the type of personality that leads them to making good decisions at this age. I think you have to give young players, particularly one's who take risks on the field some patience and care but It's made harder when there are people who will indulge behaviours that will ultimately have to change.

When I watched him in the U23s,it is when he loses the ball that is the danger to the side.He mostly tries to take on players and when dispossessed doesnt have the same enthusiasm for winning it back.He is a really skillful player with the ball at his feet, but tends to run with it than pass,I think its style of play at spurs ATM doesnt suit his qualities. You may be right but to me he doesn't seem as ill-disciplined as Taarabt. The reality is that if you want to play for any of the current bigger sides in England, you will have to get used to playing in a team that works hard in transitions and be prepared to work without the ball. United are really the only team out of that group that don't have pressing or counter-pressing from their attacking players as a major part of the game.
Couple of things.......I watched Dele on a short doc on SKY called 'Phenoms' he was humble, grounded and came across as a real hard worker wanting to learn more. Most of his friends he grew up with are now 'in prison' he thought. Point is there is an opportunity if Edwards wants it, I'd say we are continually giving him chance after chance because he is good, but that won't go on forever.
United`s style of play just baffles me,its so passive out of possesion and they dont try and keep possesion nor counter at super quick pace, which would be fine if they had an all stopping defence to just sit infront of and bide their time.It is only 4 matches so far,but they are so underwhelming,I cannot see them getting close to city or liverpool,i mean 20pts close and then they are poorest of the next bunch with us and chelsea, nearly as poor as arsenal.Carry on Jose please!!
Determination is the key.I would bet short arse Moura would win every header against sissoko everytime,he has that fire within.Lucas Moura also runs at people and dribbles and loses the ball, but he works so hard without the ball as well, pressing all over the pitch. Edwards only needs to watch either of these two to see what he could achieve. Otherwise he'll end up at Charlton.
Moura outjumped Kabaseile or Cathcart at the weekend, can't remember which, but the lad can leap!Determination is the key.I would bet short arse Moura would win every header against sissoko everytime,he has that fire within.
Hopefully another year and the penny has dropped for young Marcus, playing abroad,no distractions, last chance saloon. If that doesnt galvanise you then well charlton it is!
Yes saw it and other games too,has a pretty good leap and doesnt do that tuck your head in the shoulders and shut your eyes thing.Moura outjumped Kabaseile or Cathcart at the weekend, can't remember which, but the lad can leap!
