Winks tackle on Messi was the best thing ever!

Seriously, what the fuck is Lloris doing today? He has been beyond awful.

Game was great fun though, despite the loss.

Cheating bastard cunts. How many dives can you get away with with a cunt of a ref like that if you're Barcelona? As many as you fucking want. They are a great side, no doubt about it, but they got away with everything, nasty little ankle taps, diving and winning free kicks, and that nasty little cunt Suarez, someone have a 'word' with that cunt eh?

I haven't got any complaints about our performance, the second half was an epic attempt, except for Sissoko, I've had enough of him, sorry, I just don't see the point of him. Harry Winks got some stick in the first half but he came out a different player in the second half. Good effort from nearly all our players - except Sissoko.

Well i thought we gave a really good account of ourselves, especially given the players we had out, really enjoyed that.

We were basically beaten by the best player on the planet playing at his best, no shame in that. I thought Lamela was absolutely sensational, Lucas impressed once again, Winksy was impressive in the 2nd half, great to see Vic back, i much prefer him to Dier, he just gives us more dynamism in midfield, Hugo however was an absolute liability not for the first time this season. Was it right to bring him back in such a massive game like this, especially given how well Gazza had been performing? Anyway on to PSV, and we should really looking to get 6 pts from those back to back games and then you never know.

So the rumour is we lost! Got to admit I totally forgot about the game, daughter had a performance on at school so had to go and see it.

4 - 2 though, to be honest before the game i would have taken that with the players we have out, doesn't say much about my confidence in us at the moment i suppose. Sounds like Lamela is at last getting some credit which i'm glad about, he's been putting it in 110% whenever he's got on the pitch since he came back.

Shame you missed it mate. It was a brilliant watch. Both teams really went at it and we may have even nicked something late.

Lamela’s game was truly outstanding. He was a clear second best player on the pitch. Moura put in a decent shift as well and Winks was good late on after a really wobbly first half.

As for Son, Sanchez and Lloris...we’ll they won’t be looking forward to their post game debrief with the gaffer.

I've been out since 08:30 and just seen the score.......

Is it worth a catch up watch?

Certainly.

It was the most enjoyable Spurs loss I can remember seeing. It was also a work of art from Lionel Messi and one hell of a performance from Erik Lamela (and to a lesser extent Kane, Moura and Winks after HT) who did everything he could to drag Spurs over the line.

I came away from it absolutely delighted with what Lamela showed and optimistic that we can still get out of the group.

Well, I'm only disappointed about the errors really, our overall effort was all for naught because of them. But we went after them hammer and tongs, and were damned unlucky not to steal a point. This group is far from decided, though we've dug a bit of a hole for ourselves. Honestly I'd have subbed Winks off at the half, but he was fantastic for the last 30 minutes or so. Mark my words, that Argentinian fella they have is going to be a top player.

I was at the game and thinking of looking for an extensive highlights show online to watch. Was an ace game to watch, we just go out done by a top class team and a few errors cost us.

To me the game was over in the blink of an eye , always a good indication as to how good a game was . Messi was mesmerising , often he’d just stroll about with zero interest on what was going on ,then suddenly he was off onnan amazing run, his ball control and speed ,was incredible , so pleased to have seen him live , just such a shame it was against us . If only yesterday had been v PSV or Milan , if it had been at WHL AND we had our first team out , it would have been even more interesting

Thats the thing that going forward is a concern, barca have built a great team, and however unfair it is for us to judge ourselves without jan, dele, eriksen, last season we would have been a match for them.World cup hangover??Son missing early season?hugo`s beano hangover?most concerning is a few players are not good enough (so far??).Wanyama looks done, llorente is done, sissoko I wish he was done, winks and sanchez I can cling to belief they will mature and improve.Honestly hand on heart I would rather have seen Parrott and Skipp come on instead of sissoko and Llorente, bold move but what could they offer less except no fear, gain experience and perhaps make a bold statement.
We gave it a good go,but it was a bit like competetive dad racing his 8 year old,let them get close almost touching distance and then just pull ahead again. If there is any point to being top 4 and playing in this competition,we need to improve as a squad and we simply havent this year.It wasnt all bad, lamela looks great, lucas is more than useful, winks showed signs, but its that dembele role we need covered, wanyama, dier just arent able, winks its too early into his return,we miss a dominate ball protecting/carrying midfielder when very good teams have possession more than us and we need an outlet to defeat a good press. We showed fight, but so far this season we look fragile in defence which is weird considering the last few seasons and we lack zip and confidence in passing.Mojos come and go lets hope we find ours again and learn from playing a very good side.

Best we can really expect or hope for is top 4 and a domestic trophy, if you throw in being close to the winners (City again) and call it being having a run at the title then it's a great season for us. For a good few years we always seemed to finish fifth but couldn't bridge the gape between us and top 4 which ws frustrating but we got there in the end but it's now gonna take time and shit load of money to have nay hope of winning the league or CL. Whilst I always want us to win things and get better we musn't forget that we have come a long way without the funds the clubs around have, it's a relative success that many clubs can only dream of (I dreamt of this for years) but now we are here we gotta find a way t make the next step.

Pretty spot on, but it all takes time and money. Have a look at City, all that cash and they still have t got close in the CL and haven’t dominated in the Premier League either...we beat them by 7 points a couple of years ago. We’re doing brilliantly all things considered, just need a couple of trophies in recognition. Once we’re in the new Stadium, we’ll have no excuses , need to win something g within 2 years. Otherwise there may be a bit of an exodus, mind you they’ll bring plenty of cash. These guys deserve reward.

I honestly do think we are going in the right direction just the pace we're moving in that direction is slower. Ina couple of seasons Pep will get bored/tired at City as he always seems too and they'll fall to shit for a year or two as they seem to when when looking for the new manager but I honestly believe we'll still have most of this squad together and will have made the odd improvement here and there and be in a great position. Who knows we may have made a bigger marquee signing by then but I don't hold out too much hope for that.

I think the summerrumblings have not gone away...

We'll loose players over the summer and some will take their time to play at the new stadium.... I think we will see many taking their options then if we dont look like delivering shinies to show their grandkids.
