We're in serious trouble lads. We had fight in the 90's when we were in trouble....we've got nothing this time, absolutely nothing.

We have to sack Frank now and get someone that will create a bounce ...and that might be enough to stay up.

So we're legitimately now 3 points off 18th and the bottom 3 with Arsenal up next.

Will they sack him tonight ?

He has to go, there has been no improvement in the players who are fit.
I think it's worse than that . .. it not even like we're same ol same ol... it feels like Frank has gotten less out of these players.. were not even as bad as we were, we are fucking worse, , were fuckin pathetic, no vision, no heart, no desire, were fucking weak.. Frank has us going backwards literally and figuratively.. backwards on the pitch.. backwards in play... backwards down the table..

Sacking Frank won't change the dross on the field... It's still the right thing to do, but I don't expect anything to change...

We've got to hope 3 teams are way shitter than us...

This is the thing. It's a results business, and Frank could've had no complaints if he was sacked weeks ago, but I'm not sure we can't get worse. The thing about a new manager bounce is that it happens because players are trying to prove themselves and get in the new manager's plans.

With the club and fans fixated on bringing Poch back in, and basically less than a starting XI worth of fit players, I don't see where an interim manager would necessarily right the ship at all.

As for Harry, it would be fun, but he's almost 80 years old and hasn't managed in over a decade, when he got sacked from Birmingham City. I know it worked to a point at Celtic with O'Neill, but that's a totally different situation.

Whatever we decide to do, we are left hoping that, as you say, three teams are worse than us (as I type this the spammers just dropped two points),and that when we do get some players healthy again, they'll be able to lift us across the line.

I wouldn't care less if he was wheeled out to the dugout in a Hannibal Lecter type trolley. His presence would give everyone that lift we need. Who else can come in that's available and would have all the respect of every player ?

I'm not for sacking managers but this is different. We can't beat a rug and it's not going to get better. We need the bounce....any bounce.

Polish up that car door Arry...

Trying to absolve himself of any blame while equally admitting he hasn't done the job he was hired to do.

What he said is factually true.

Maybe but it’s also a bullshit copout and a terrible attempt at blaming Postecoglou for our predicament. Ange won a trophy. He will always be a Spurs legend. Frank should be very careful with what he implies when it comes to Ange. He’s on shaky ground there.

He is the worst manager we have had in my 45 years following Spurs. And it’s not even close. 2 wins from our last 19 league games. Why is he still employed here? Does he have photos of Vinai sucking off rent boys?

His job is untenable. He must go. Tonight. Now.

100%....but the interim is the most important appointment imo. We get this wrong and we'll be hosting Charlton and Millwall on derby day in the league next season, not Arsenal and Chelsea.

I agree that his job is untenable.

BUT I think that two things can be true. I love Ange and thought he should've stayed in the job. But some, really most, of the performances last spring were just awful. Unprofessional, even. Though always with the huge caveat that we had a horrible injury crisis.

Same with Frank who, like Ange, has stayed in a job because he's been able to beat inferior competition in Europe. Similarly, the only reason we weren't in a serious relegation battle last year is that the three promoted sides were so outclassed in the PL. West Ham already have almost as many points as Leicester did last year in 18th. We finished 17th last season, and won a trophy.

It's not Ange-blaming to say that we've been terrible for two years, its saying that two good, highly-respected managers have had a more or less impossible job at Spurs, and neither have been up to it. I'm not sure who would be to be honest. At this rate we'll be lucky if Poch is willing to return.
