It was dogshit, absolutely, but I'm not letting it get to me because we had something like seven players out there who haven't played competitive football together before so it's going to take time. Bergvall certainly didn't do himself any favours if he's keen on staying.

He made a couple mistakes, basically trying too much in terrible positions, but he at least looked to get on the front foot and drive into their third with the ball. I thought Tonali was every bit as bad as him in the first half.

Didn't love De Zerbi's postmatch comments about how he knew we would be shit due to the preseason. He's probably not wrong, but you have to take the high road as manager. Or coach. Not even sure what he is exactly. But spin it positive. Ish. Poor fucker is probably regretting his decision.

He was awful yesterday, worst game in the shirt.

Not sure he'll get his move away after that performance, hope he does though - head is clearly not in it anymore.

After 20 hours of digesting.

Half our defense was made of second stringers.
Having Moore ahead of Archie made it even worse.
Our center midfield was shit.
Bergvall tried to do too much in too dangerous of positions.
Did Tonali or Gallagher even touch the ball? Or win a tackle? Or even attempt one?

Our press was pathetic and played through entirely too easily.

Our attacking options were really bad and need replacing asap.

In truth, it would have only reinforced everything you've written...

The post game interview from RDZ was potentially more embarrassing than the performance imo....smacked of setting up excuses and scapegoats and not taking responsibility for the teams condition or performance...

If that's what we're to expect, then Christmas will be an achievement.
