That was an entertaining game with a deserved result.
How many touches did we get, not only in Brentford's box, but inside the six?! It was crazy. Could have had multiple goals from those situations.

I must say that I do miss the days of Jose & Conte protecting a point.

Vicario, Romero and Sonny are worries though. Not performing the way they can.
VDV brilliant. Kulo is a different player and has definitely stepped up. It's a good 3 points but let's not go mental. It's Brentford and they were without their biggest goal threat in Wissa.
Next weekend at Old Trafford should give us a proper indication of where we are imo.

I thought Kulu & Maddison both looked lively & worked well together in front of Benta. The former were creative while the latter cleaned up & recycled the ball. The link up with Dom up top will improve.
VDV, Udogie, & Pedro all solid.
Son looks to be in some kind of funk. Unfortunate that he didn't convert that breakaway. That would have helped him regain his confidence.
Happy for Dom & Brennan. I can't believe the abuse they received from their own "supporters", particularly Brennan. We do have an ignorant bunch among us.

BTW, funny how our resident racist doesn't celebrate our wins. Only comes on to bitch pre-game & when we lose. Very telling.

Loved that match. Win or lose, that's how I want to see the game played. My lovely dog was very worried about me screaming and yelling whilst it was going on, but she was happy for me when it was done.
