Regarding Dele Alli, he's also only 22 I think. Anyone remember what you were like when you were 22? Anyone in a shop window like he is or under the pressures and expecatation he's under....the context is important.
Of course I don't remember being 22. If you do then you weren't taking the right drugs mate, 22? I don't remember much from the age of 16 until.... 61.

I don't think it's got anything to do with the price of fish anyway, so I think the context is unimportant, he's a grownup, professional footballer. I like fire in players, I like aggressive tackling, but it has to be controlled or he will be targeted by refs and the opposition players will be doing everything they can to get him sent off. Lamella sails very close to the wind with his tackling, 91 PL performances, no red cards, flipping incredible that, I think he only got one red in over 230 games! I love Eric Dier's tackling and think refs penalise him unfairly, OK once or twice he has got nasty, but usually it's good old fashioned physical football and everybody and his dog get the hump sometimes. Dele gets unpleasant and plays the man too often for my liking, calculated, premeditated, not spontaneous hump induced - he has got better obviously but needs to improve - a lot.

The going down easy part is just cheating in my mind and I don't care who it is, it gets on my tits. I hated it when Bale started doing it, I hate it when Dele does it. It is probably naive but I like to think that THFC is above that, maybe my Bill Nicholson tinted glasses blind me to reality, I don't much care for reality anyway.

While I am in a provocative mood, unusual I know, I am normally so unprovocative, that Hugo bloke kicks like a fucking girl

Dele needs to get back to being a nasty shitehouse in the right way.Stop the arm waving thinking he`s hard done by and get back to working to be the big name he thinks he will be.Start putting the foot in (i dont mean reckless and over the top) in a way that shows he isnt there to be bullied, that he has the tricks and the darkside if needed.
He is from a tough background, suddenly adored, multi squillionaire who wouldnt be fucked up,seriously dream and all that we`d all love to be /have,who wouldnt be seriously changed forever mentally, egotistically, paranoially (made up word!).His salvation will come from immersing himself in playing well, not the branding, naming rights, new agents Dele 18 fifa cover desire. If anyone can ground him at this time its Poch, and he needs it,his body language is awful,he`s not enjoying it as he should,he cuts a frustrated image at times, the refs are against him, theyre just kicking me,i am not playing well theyve figured me out,i`m giving the ball away and hurting the team,i have to adapt because its all known now and always 2 or 3 are on me.....
Burnley encapsulated all that, diving in to a tackle,"earning" the penalty and............. then after played a bit like the old dele, mature, not so much theatrics when he was kicked all over the shop, hounded by the crowd, poch could/should have subbed him as he was a red card walking, but I think Poch left him out there to show he can do it,he can show sense and not get a 2nd yellow and pick up his game.I will stick my neck out and say this is when dele comes back to us as the player we want.

If he doesnt then I see a move earlier than we`d like, because no player can be given forever to sort their head out,and he needs to.But as I said,i think burnley will switch him on again,we shall see.
