Harry Kane has been top scorer or thereabouts for the past two seasons...so he is as good if not better than all the strikers in the Premier league, including Aguero, Costa, Lukaku, Sanchez and anyone else you care to mention...you're just frustrated like everyone else that we didn't win!! Relax it'll all come good.
Mate, even I don't think Harry is better than Aguero and I'm a raving nutter.

Well you can't be right and the voice of reason all the time....can you ha ha, Harry is better, Aguero was dropped earlier this season due to lack of form, although admittedly he is quite good on his day, almost as good as Mr Kane on his day....Aguero doesn't have the variety of goals that Kane has.

They ain't playing too shabbily at the minute but then in patches neither are we.

Once it clicks it'll be some fcuker on the end of a spanking.

I popped over to the other place to make a post and say hello to a few of the good uns. I read thru a few threads and although not really aggressive about Pochettino I was surprised there were a few rumblings about his position and how fragile they thought it was. I'll be honest lads, although the European venture was disappointing I reckon he's worked a minor miracle keeping us in touch in the league. Given the injuries to key players and the inability to field our strongest side consistently we've done well to be where we are. The comparisons to the same stage last season are there for all to see......get Toby and Lamela back and I can see us kicking on.

Are you trying to take over my role as the most mental member here? Nutter!

I use those nasty things, facts, to judge other teams and players, Ageuro is the best striker in the Premier League, his Minutes Per Goal figure for his 112 PL goals is 106, that is insanely freakishly good, his MPG for his 10 goals this season so far is 92, mental, I don't know what the orange bloke's stats are in Spainiland, but his Premier League rating was 173. The PL player next in the list to Aguero was Terry Henry on 121. Last season he was beaten by a single goal by Harry as we all know, but he played 995 minutes less!

Harry Kane is at number 6 in the all-time PL MPG list, that is very, very good, but at 134 he is nowhere near Ageuro.

Bloody facts......I prefer your stats!! What are they for the past two seasons? that's what I'm judging Kane vs Aguero on and I wonder what the conversion rate is of goals scored vs shots taken? Either way there's little to choose between them in my nuthouse.

ps. Your role as chief Nutter is safe, ha ha.

Best MPG for players scoring 10 or more for 5 seasons:

2017 so far Aguero - 10 in 920, 92 MPG
2016 Aguero - 24 in 2,375, 98 MPG
2015 Aguero - 26 in 2,540, 97 MPG
2014 Aguero - 17 in 1,539, 90 MPG
2013 Hernandez - 10 in 946, 94 MPG

I rest my case! Ageuro is probably the best striker the PL has ever seen, Kane might develop into an even better one, but he ain't not nowhere near that level yet!

Ps: conversion rate is bollocks, only the number of goals in the minutes played makes any sense, so what if his conversion rate is 1% or 100% - wtf diffs innit?

PPS: All time best PL MPG is Ageuro, 112 in 11,911 minutes - 106 MPG

PPPS: I don't want to snog him.

@conor1 I saw your post over at the other place. I still poke my head in there just to see what is going on. I was shocked to see that a couple of 'posters' are suggesting that Poch is skating on thin ice.

As for the Chelsea game. Meh. I hated them before, still hate them now.

I still hope in my life time I will actually see Spurs win at the bridge. Always next season.

This is how I see it. Every month I do a rough calculation of PL games and where our points may come from. Arsenal, West Ham and Chelsea, truthfully I expected 5 points and hoped for 7 and that was before a ball was kicked at the beginning of the season. We finished the month with 4 points so I'm not completely disappointed.

December will be a huge month. I genuinely believe that we can win every game we have on fixture list.

Bring it on :)
