Because without him we can't hold the ball up and wouldn't have scored...

He gets a bye almost every game...
That's doesn't wash. Yeah he laid it off to Sess which led to the goal, but he didn't press anyone for the entire game. He didn't look up for it....and with alot at stake, it's not good enough. Who knows what deals have gone on in the background regarding him being aloud to leave in the summer, but if not having CL football next season is a get out clause, maybe ?
If I'm the only one that saw a lack of urgency and effort from Harry then fair enough...maybe I'm going mad......which is a distinct possibility.

I must have watched a different game. Kane did his part, plenty of good passes and kept VVD and Konate busy. Emerson had his best game yet, determined, mostly focused and worked well with Romero and Kulusevski. Sessegnon did another good job to keep Salah contained, and the back three had a great game. Fantastic block from Davies. Bentancur was poor in the first half but he and Hojbjerg both worked really hard to disrupt Liverpool in the second half. Even Winks didn’t mess up. Shame we didn’t win, but I’m happy with the effort and the quality.

Lads I'm shitting for Britain again...

I think Olives may be the common denominator... I thought it was some kind of stomach flu/virus thing but I had olives before and I had a load earlier.

Is that a thing?
No that is not a thing, unless you are eating olives from Spain, because we have poisoned all the ones we ship to you Brexit cunts. Ha ha, leave the fucking EU would ya? Have some toxic olives.

Could be that long covid doodah, post-viral symptoms can include just about anything and can last for fucking months, even just ordinary flu can fuck you over for yonks.

Arms would have been ripped off if we'd been offered a point before the game. A great point that will make Thursday's game even more 'interesting', especially if Leeds can do us a favour today.

Leeds need to win or get something out of it...

I don't often watch other teams I just can't be fucked, but I like Leeds and it may be nice to size up these Cuckoo cunts before Thursday.

I think he's been told not to press or more likely to press in the right areas/way.

We were looking to soak up the Dippers allowing them to go wide and for Kulu/Royal and Son/Sess to double up on their wide men...

And it worked overall.

IDK what's gonna happen with H, but the truth is he is way better than our whole side. He and probably Son are operating on a different level. He wants titles, he wants trophies and he has given everything to try and do that here and the club hasn't matched his ambition. That's Levys fault and I don't blame Kane if he wants to go and find some medals elsewhere. I'll be wounded, but we've been here so many times before I'm sure I'll get over it.

I thought Kane was pretty good on the day, especially on the goal. It wasn't just the inch-perfect pass to Sessegnon in the buildup, it was the way he took down that ball that Emerson just kicked up in the air to begin the move in the first place. It was a moment of class that looked like being the difference in the game for a while.

More generally, I was moaning about our inability to keep the ball sometime early in the 2nd half, and my kid, a pretty gifted player in his own right, finally said, "what are they supposed to do?" Basically, he was pointing out how quickly the dippers snapped into the press with 3-4 players, and how the hoofed long ball that you'd usually play to get out of pressure gets gobbled up by probably the best CB in the world in VVD and that other big unit they played back there on Saturday.

Afterwards, Klippety was having a go at Tony's tactics, but his style of play forces it on the opposition. If you can't get out of your own half, you have to bring players back, sometimes all of them.

I despise Liverpool, but they are so fucking good. We're not that bad, but they're miles beyond where we, and everyone in Europe but City and maybe Real Madrid, are. And they almost definitely won't win the league. It's really unbelievable.

I haven't read all this thread, so apologies if I'm repeating previous posts. I thought we were brilliant, especially the commitment and determination in defence. Romero is fast becoming my favourite player and hats off to the other 4 as well. The reaction from Klopp (what a total wanker) spoke volumes and out players and manager should take heart from that.

I hope Liverpool lose everything else they are involved with this season, self entitled cunts.

Yeah I have to add, since I was talking about how good they are: it would be beautiful if they finished this season with just the League Cup to show for it.

Did we steal the title from them? I expect they will hate us even more now - I hope so, I feed on their hate, it makes me strong.

Liverpool did not win the Premier League. It really does feel like my birthday today.

And those two draws with us are what fucked it up for them. Gutted for their fans, I really am.

Plus, those two wins against City made them think they had a chance.
