Yeah I saw that, guess it means that you need to keep 5-6 regulars rather than changing almost the whole team. Also suggests that 'squad' players are about League 1 standard on average....which I'm not sure is right, age and experience is a big factor.

Not sure it means they are league 1 standard, they just don't play regularly together so have less cohesion then a league 1 team.

Our biggest disappointments were possibly 4 internationals,Davies,sissoko,wimmer&Dier,so it wasnt just because of kids playing.Just one two or 3 more regulars would have bedded in the new starters and help guide the play.We made some awful decsions in the game,davies&dier gave the ball away cheaply for the goals I think because we werent prepared to be our usual patient selves,maybe everyone was trying to prove their worth too much?Son& sissoko a few times tried to take people on in the wrong positions,gave the ball away when it was the wrong time&place to concede possesion,mostly when the fullbacks were completly out of postion then.The only one with the correct composure was winks who carried the ball well to relieve pressure and didnt give it away.
It isnt as much the standard of the players,just the unfamiliarity of playing with each other in an actual match.That allowed wycombe to drag us into playing their style of game,more end to end with us trying to force the issue.I just think ok toby or jan couldnt play,but wanyama or mousa in tandem with dier would have given us some regularity in approach,more calmness and the style we have been playing,i.e keeping possesion.
Its wrong to write off onomah,ccv,wimmer because it was a collective cluster fuck brought about because of unfamilarity and pressure of a game situation,against a side not lost in 16 matches whatever league they were from.

What I couldn't believe was none of the bigger clubs drew each other again. Was hoping for Chelsea.v. Arsenal and Man U .V. Man City I could hope.....

Sutton, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, beat Championship side Leeds United in round three.
The game with Arsenal will take place at Gander Green Lane on Monday, 20 February, with kick-off at 19:55 GMT.
