I sort of wish it was the other Eric that had gone - is that bad, am I a bad person? Of course I fucking am. I will miss him and he will definitely go onto my list of Spurs Leg ends. "Everywhere you go you always take Lamela with you....."

I know it's silly to say, but I miss having him around.
I do too.
He would fit this system very well.
The energy & enthusiasm the guy exuded was incredible.
He played like a rabid pitbull when healthy.🤪

He would fit in well with the current squad, always fucking injured 😂😂😂😂
Maybe so, but he has / had more heart & commitment to the jersey than the vast majority of our current squad.
The guy cared.

Absolutely loved him. A proper shithousery cunt, but with bags of skill. Was always committed, and always gave it everything. Should've started alot more games than he did imo....
Happy retirement Erik.

I loved that guy & he was one of my favourite players b/c he got what it meant to be Spurs.
Talent & tenacity in equal measure.
The guy was fearless & audacious.
Too bad he couldn't stay healthy to show more of what he was capable of. Need more of his mindset & I hope he comes back to Spurs in some capacity in the future.

I don't care if he wore eye liner, i loved his shithousery more than he will ever know. He drove teams insane. Whether scoring wonder goals, or falling to the pitch in agony for no apparent reason, the man knew how to see out a match. If only he had a right foot.

I'm stealing this from Twitter but I don't care ..

For the rabonas.

For the elbows.

For the ball rolls.

For dribbling out of your own box in the 97th minute in Amsterdam.

For trying to hospitalise anyone employed by Chelsea Football Club.

For calling Jack Wilshere a pussy.

Thank you, Erik. The greatest to ever do it.

I want him as full time Rabona coach...
