In my parish, it involved me and a large Trinidadian man singing Spurs songs at the top of our lungs in a small, crowded pub, in which few of the punters, and none of the staff, were actually watching the match.

I do know for a fact that the cook is a gooner, so I couldn't order any food, had to stick to a low-carb (100% cider) diet.

So it's us v PSG for the Super Cup then. Apparently the first ever competitive meeting between the two clubs.

If they’re half as good as they were yesterday that’s terrifying.

It doesn't seem fair... We're absolute worlds apart.
Spam United, told us they are a better team, sure were only Tottenham Lads... Maybe they'll still be drunker then us...

We need to get behind PSG in the upcoming club World Cup believe it or not.

If they reach the final on July the 13th then FIFA rules mandate a mandatory 3 week break after any major competition so their players would only begin their summer break after the final and wouldn’t return to training until August the 3rd, 10 days before the Super Cup match.

Could well mean players not being anywhere near match fitness and others just being rested.

Considering the Premier League kicks off on the weekend of the 16th, you’d expect our lot to be as near to full match fitness as possible.

So it might not be as much of a lost cause as you’d think ..

Hehehe maybe I will, despite scoffing at the very idea of the CWC competition, and continualy saying no to my mate who wants to go.

I'll mortgage the house, buy a Maga cap and head down south. Then get one of those two-sided scarves so I can cheer on the Qatar Select team and Spurs as well.

Might get a free trip to El Salvador if I can't keep my mouth shut.

I haven't grabbed any Europa League Champions gear yet. Has anyone else? I am interested in a coffee cup, newspaper front page with some sort of iconic headline and picture to frame and likely other things. Any thoughts?
