Or chips, I hate fry up's with chips.

You mean fries right? Cos there's a world of difference between fries and chips, I've never seen fry up with chips but plenty of fookin times with fries, and another thing what's the deal with fry ups with burgers and onions but without the bun? I mean WTF! I did have one once to see what it was like - you know purely for scientific reasons, I nearly exploded! Was waaaaay too much, nope it's two eggs, bacon, jumbo sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes all on two toast plus bread on the side and big mug of tea, that's enough for me thank you!

Edit: Oh and beans, sorry forgot the beans but have added them in above :)

I thought I'd have a look on the leading Everton forum to see what they are going to have for breakfast on Sunday - and they haven't even got an OMBT, (Official Matchday Breakfast Thread) on the grandoldteam forum yet, that is very disrespectful I think. They obviously think their breakfasts are far superior to ours so they don't even bother to start a thread.

I really wanted use to have a better breakfast than them at the weekend, with this insult this has now become a must-eat breakfast for us!

By the way a few geezers here have mentioned baked beans, no, I'm not having that. I'm a tolerant sort of person and I will accept that it takes all sorts, and one man's sausage is another man's banana - but baked fucking beans with a full English is a perversion. The thought of the baked bean juice contaminating my beautifully fried eggs, the whites firm, the yolks nice and runny, well let me tell you chaps that though makes me want to hurl my breakfast into the bin. I like beans on toast as a light breakfast or even for my tea if I have had a big lunch and can't fancy a proper meal, but I will NEVER allow baked beans and fried eggs to live side by side on the same plate. That is the sort of thing a Brexit voter or Donald Trump would support and I will fight until my dying breath to stop this. Down with this sort of thing I say, down with it!

I am on the fence regarding cooked tomatoes, I don't have them with my breakfasts because there is always the danger of the juice seeping out and getting onto my eggs, which is obviously not acceptable, but I wouldn't go full mental looney in a cafe if they served them to me. I would just politely nudge the offending items off of my plate and tell the serving wench about the shocking mistake and not take it any further. Unless of course my eggs had been contaminated, it would kick off then,
@Dorset

injury news. Toby/Jan/Kane to be assessed after final session. Lamela no return still to full training, Rose still 'number of weeks'.

Poch on Vertonghen: "He’s in a good position like Harry/Toby. I trust tomorrow tests will be positive & they can be available."

If they have trained OK I'm sure they'll be fine. Bit concerning though cos we're in trouble without Jan, Rose, Harry and Toby. If they were all to fail that would be our defence seriously weakened and our goal threat gone. I'm sure they will be OK though I'm just panicking now.

They looked fine in the training pics from yesterday on the club site, and the game is Sunday which helps.

Just another quick thing - if you took 4 key players out of any team at the top of the league for example Costa, Luiz, Azpilicueta and Pedro any team would struggle. I don't see why some people think we ought not to be affected. Of course we will.

We're unbeaten at home they're unbeaten in 9, we struggle to beat them sometimes...something has to give.

Spurs win this 2-0 don't they?

I did mean chips, I have been to sub par greasy spoons where they serve up the cannon fodder of cuisine (chips) just to fill the plate. Shameful. Chips do have a roll in life like next to battered fish or between two slices of bread or even with a nice bit of steak, but not for breakfast.

As for fries, the notion that they are part of a fry up sickens me. I once knew of someone who had lettuce with their bacon and egg, I wanted to kill them.

Everton is one of those clubs that just seem to annoy us. 3 draws in the last 3 games. Could do with 3 points here especially after the assheads lost today (he he) and Man U had a hissy fit and dropped two points against Bournemouth. Hope Toby and Jan are back, I need them steadying the ship and I think Harry should be fine. Listen here @Don Diaz you leave Ben Davies' hair alone, he has lovely hair......he is no wing back as I've said before but he's got lovely hair.

Fry ups, I'll be home Wednesday and as long as my freezer hasn't melted all over the place, I'll be having one for my lunch/brunch when I get in. My fry ups are different, I have them like @Liam said on a lazy Sunday morning after I have had my lie in and if we're the first match on for the day then we're eating it through it and if not, well, we're eating it before our game starts. But yeah, fish fingers, kippers, fried eggs, baked beans and bread. No chips or fries, no sausages (bacon if I have it in) and definitely no lettuce !

As for black pudding.....

Agreed, I always feel like this is an awkward fixture. Very big game for us, I think if we can win this, given the next few games, we ought to be able to put some breathing space between us and a couple of other not-to-be-named teams.

Waiting for the team announcement, will the Poch follow the new managerial style of Arsene and drop our top players in this important game, Harry and Dele to be on the bench? Nah - here is the team:

Lloris (C), Walker, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane.

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Sissoko, Winks, Son, Janssen

Strong line ups from both sides there! This should be a really good game of football, but I think we'll just edge it.

I am going to start a petition which prevents Ben Davies from touching his fringe during a match. He is forever doing it!!

Good first half, we should have had at least one possibly two penalties, the nailed on one on Kane should gave been a red card as well. Poor refereeing again, but we are good enough for that to not matter. Everton are the top recent form side in the Premiership and we are miles better than them, two more in the second half -sorted.

Sloppy defending to concede 2 goals when they never looked like scoring! But a good 3 points...9 on the bounce

Got a bit nervy towards the end, but a great win, we were so much better than the 1 goal victory. That could have been the trickiest game in our run in, we are on for a great finish (and the FA Cup of course). I am bit miffed that the 'one season wonder' didn't get a hat-trick, just 2 goals is poor.

Very poor return from Kane. 2 goals is just not good enough. Any more 25yd screamers and he should be benched. And to think he got a new contract and payrise not so long ago. Embarrassing. And as for Pochettino, hang your head in shame, we've gone backwards since you came to the club. You don't know what you're doing.
I am of course jesting. Massive win for us

What a fantastic performance, completely dominant throughout and should really have been 3-0 by half time, if only Kane was half decent and took his chances....oh well!!!

Lovely second half, we just look so comfortable at home even against the better teams. This group are wonderful to watch, superbly managed by Poch, and really seem to be enjoying themselves. Forget the scoreline this could just as easily be 5-1. Long may it continue.

Edit- what brilliant support again today.

We were brilliant today. On another we'd have been 3 or 4 up at half time. Kane looks like he's gonna score more than last season if he keeps going like this!

A bit sloppy to concede the goals we did, Vertonghen was a bit unlucky slipping/falling in the lead up to their first goal but we should have been awake for their second.

All in all you can't complain as the performance was top class. 9 home wins on the bounce!! I'll have some of that.

@birdonaball young Ben Davies had a good game today, especially now he has had a haircut! Safe travels back.

Thought Davies was excellent today. His only problem is that he is being compared to arguably the best left back in Europe this season. Tough ask if you ask me but he's doing rightly. Pick of the bunch today were Kane, Vertonghen and Dele imo

You know, it's sheer laziness on Kane's part.
Totally unwilling to put in more effort by working the ball in closer.
He's simply resorting to shooting from distance. This lack of effort is astounding.

I took Kane out of my Fantasy team a few games ago.

Since then he has scored 2 hat-tricks & a brace.

Of course I'm gonna leave him off my team.

I made him captain and he started banging them in!

I feel your pain I did the same and only put him back in this week along with Aguero (triple captain this week - two games)

Blind laziness. He'd better man up

Well, if you knew anything about football tactics, xG and linear regression, which you need to be able to enjoy football it would be obvious. Everton are known as the toffees, toffee is a delicious food - one of your 5 a day therefore Everton thread=food. It's not rocket science!
