There are some blokes in a far far away place and here, who should watch that game several times. That is what the FA Cup is about, it was magnificent. I love football and I love the FA Cup. Watching little Rochdale give us a massive scare at the weekend was brilliant, watching Wigan somehow manage to keep City out and snatch the win was priceless.. They defended like their life depended on it, how the fuck City didn't score is beyond human comprehension - but it's football, and I fucking love it.

How can anyone who loves football not love the FA Cup? It would be like saying you love your country then voting to flush it down the toilet. It would be like saying you loved great music then having jazz on your playlist.

I really dislike that Pep bloke, he turns into a total cunt when everything doesn't go his way, all the toys get thrown out of the pram. He should have got sent to the stands last night when he came onto the pitch to whine about the totally kosher red card. Delph was lucky he hadn't been sent off earlier, his reckless tackles make Lamella when he is riled up look like a little girl sticking her tongue out at opposing players. All that money, all that talent and they turn into cheating dirty cunts when things go wrong.

I wonder if Fernandinho got a good boy badge last night saying 'It wasn't me this time', makes a nice change for him I suppose, nasty fucker.

Will the FA act against City now? Ageuro needs to be banned for the rest of the season, Garry L said he 'was frustrated' as if that excuses punching a Wigan fan, Shearer said he might have 'said something' to the nasty little cunt, oh that's OK then because if someone says something nasty to you it's OK to punch them is it? We all know what a thug Ageuro is when he's not winning. Gardiola needs banning as well.

Fuck them and their blood money team, fuck them and their failed Quadruple attempt. I hope we get them in the finals of the FA Cup and the Champions League and win a legendary double.

There's some great stuff on here...

'It would be like saying you loved great music then having jazz on your playlist'

'Man City's 8 year history'

I'm still chuckling at their plastic players, plastic manager and plastic fans. What they should have done was applaud Wigan's fight and determination, like a decent professional would have done, rather than behave like spoilt brats.....which is really what they are all along.

No respect for teams and managers that outrageously buy success. It's not big and it's not clever, anyone could do it. And another thing.....when you don't get the cash apparently you cry about it.....isn't that right Mr Conte?? Yep thought so.

Well those 4 long haired mopheads were wrong,it should have been "cant buy me class" .

He is like an unfunny mourinio, classless in defeat and if it wasnt for volume of money at barca, bayern and city in those leagues vs nearly every other club, show me how he improves players?lets make sterling better by putting debruyne and jesus around him, john stones simple just buy 3 new fullbacks and a keeper around him,oh i say hasnt pep improved john stones now...... If he hadnt even an ounce of humility it would make the dirty oil blood money more palatable like with mancini/pellegrini but bloke is just a cunt,a class above mourinio even.

Manchester City to seek explanation from Wigan Athletic for pitch invasion

Oh fer ferk's ferking sake, pitch invasion? It was supporters from the 3rd division celebrating a fantastic win over the top side in the country, it used to happen in every big game. The City players were not attacked, calling it an 'invasion' makes it sound like a fucking pitched battle. Investigate the City fans attacking the police and stewards, investigate Ageruo punching one of the 'invaders', investigate Gardiasis for his 'pitch invasion' and abuse of the referee.

Man City have launched a complaint about Wigan's taunting at the end of the game by playing Oasis over the PA system.

When The FA were asked if they'd take action, they said maybeeeeeee.

With regards to Aguero, you can probably just about make a case for not reacting to being verbally abused, coz you’re probably used to that from the terraces, although different when it’s face to face, but if reports are to be trusted and someone spat at him, then that shit’s tough not to react too, I don’t care whether you’re a professional athlete or not.

John Stones, although recently injured, isn't typically a starter for City, and another reason why they've just spent a shed load on Laporte. Sterling misses more than he scores, and £50m for Kyle Walker. Jeez they were about to pay £60m for Mahrez on a whim that Sane was out for 6 weeks. Does any of that make you a good manager....Nope. When he went to Bayern he did worse than the outgoing Jupp Heynckes, who won the treble.....aged 68 and at that time only had Dortmund as serious competition. In his first year in England, by his own admission he would have been sacked for his performance. Luckily he's bought his way out of it. In one Summer.......(plus wages of course)
Benjamin Mendy - Monaco - £52million
Kyle Walker - Tottenham - £45million
Bernardo Silva - Monaco - £43million
Ederson - Benfica - £35million
Danilo - Real Madrid - £26million

Oh Laporte cost £57million as well, that's more than 2 Lucas Moura's who would you rather have??

I have to admit that if somebody spat in my face they would be swallowing their teeth, I don't think I'd be able to stop myself, the red mist would come down and I would strike the bounder most vigorously. I'd probably get my head well and truly kicked in these days though cos I a am bit more fragile than I used to be, but I have never really given a toss about consequences, so teeth sandwich coming up. But, we have to look at the circumstances, it was Ageuro wot done the deed and he is a bit of a cunt, so it is wrong and he should be punished!

Swansea are a different kettle of fish at home these days, the only side to have beaten them at the Liberty ground recently is ...drum roll.... the mighty Spurs! The Dippers, cunts that they are have only been beaten by three teams in this Premier League campaign - City of course, us of course and Swansea.

Some folks think this is a gimme, of course we will beat little Swansea, but this could be an epic battle, they made West Ham look pathetic yesterday, oh yeah, sorry it was West Ham. All the same, I really, really want us to win this. Playing the FA cup semi-final and final at home would be a massive advantage to us now we own Wembley but we have to thump the Swans and then ...... glory, glory Tottenham Hotspur!

I am dreaming of an epic double this year. Imagine our trophy case with the FA Cup and Champions League trophy sitting there all shiney! Going back home with those two trophies would be a massive boost for next season and players will be falling over themselves in the rush to sign new contracts.

Right, so now this game becomes massively important after the mugging we suffered against those Italian thugs. We have got 9 days to get over the heartbreak and a loosener against Bournemouth on Sunday. If we play half as good as we did against those dirty criminals we will destroy Swansea - and any other team who come up in the semi final and final.

If we keep on with our fantastic Premier League progress and play every game as if it were the Champions League final we are on target for 2nd place and the FA Cup, that would do very nicely. There are just 12 games left to play this season including the 3 FA up wins needed to lift the trophy. Let's put some fear into the rest of the Premier League and the Champions Leagues sides, let them know that we are going home next season and will be their worst fucking nightmare.

We have been treated to some fantastic football this season, there is no reason to be pissed off about anything at all, we are the team of the future with the best manager in the League, he is still learning, he's only a kid in managerial teams, but he keeps getting better and better, anyone how calls him naive or calls out his tactics is a cunt who will not be pissed on even if I have set fire to him.

I stated in the match thread that we were somewhat naive, but that is not a dig at the coach or the players. It is merely an observation that came from two poor defensive lapses and the fact that we were quite open at the back when we may have been a little more pragmatic.

But, I will concede that it is all very easy from my place in the cheap seats....and I do want to make it very clear that my feeling is that this happens with most young teams and will be a great learning experience for all involved. Of course we could have played more conservatively and been smacked for it. We are all armchair experts.

(Plus, I know how you get when you are angry and I don’t want to get into an argument.)

Not yet mate but I have always considered as somewhat Churchillesque. I'd be fucking great at saying 'oh yes' or even 'oh no' and I'd sell fuck loads of car insurance. Oh yes, I would.

Yep, always in the boat race mate, I can't be arsed with snidey backdoor pokes or slaps. If you said he was naive in the match thread and I missed it, then it is gone, the opportunity for poking, slapping and abuse has past, however, I will say that you can stick your emoijs up your arse, that is not specifically aimed at you, everybody can do the same.
