I had to exhume this thread.

What a fantastic comeback by Leverkusen over two legs. Both times down by two goals. Won it in added / injury time.
You can see the parallels between this season's Spurs & Bayer. Never give up.

Really impressed with Alonso & Bayer going undefeated thus far in any competition.

Am in Bilbao just now. Thought I'd see if I can take in some footy whilst I'm here. My Spanish is terrible, and my Basque non-existent, so my conversation with some ultras in a bar didn't get me anywhere. So I checked online to see who they're playing tomorrow, and...it's the Arse! Right now trying to get tickets in the home stands. Have a Spurs jersey in my luggage but not sure if I have the balls to wear it.

Wear it!

The Bilbao people were extremely friendly when we were there in May for the EL final, I think you'd be fine.

Anyone watching this PSG/Bayern game? What a brilliant half of football. The movement, the pace, the crispness of the passing, best half of football I’ve seen for ages. A far cry from the dross we see in the Prem week in week out.

It’s unbelievably good. So many players on each side who look to take defenders on. As you say, so much different than the PL.

It’s the technical ability of every player on the pitch, even the CBs have more ability on the ball, than the majority of our attackers!
