My biggest nightmare is losing to United in the final after beating them 3 times this season

That is the craziest thing I have ever seen.

And that includes the Moura Miracle.

That was fucking nuts.

I will be the first to admit I had very little faith in us going through and even less faith in us going through winning 1-0

Huge fucking win

Didn’t we get jumped 3-0 early on the plastic before coming back and winning over 2 legs?
Yes, I remember Pav scoring at their place and I think the home leg was pretty comfortable. We were appalling on plastic at Tamworth though...

Can't say I've seen Bodo/Glimt play much, but their Wikipedia page gives me reason for optimism:
In 2025, they became the first ever Norwegian side to reach a European semi-final, by beating Lazio 3-2 on penalties, following an equaliser in extra time by Andreas Helmersen to level the tie 3-3 on aggregate, following a 2-0 win by Bodø/Glimt in the first leg. They will play the greatest football club in the world, Tottenham Hotspur. It is likely Tottenham will win by many many goals.

We're away to Liverpool 4 days before the first leg of the semi-final. That should be .. 'interesting' ..

That was the most stressful and yet enjoyable Spurs match I've watched in a long time. Felt like Poch days: a lead in the match, everyone disciplined, and we see it out. Bergvall and Bentancur completely Zen, Johnson - yes Johnson (!)- tracking back, and big Dom dominating.

Yesterday my beloved Habitants qualified for the NHL playoffs. Tonight my five-a-side team (I Spurtacuss) won our first match in a year, and now Spurs dare and do!!!

Does anybody really give two shits about the league now?

I certainly don’t and I won’t be judging Ange or the players on the remaining games.

Win the EL and we get a much needed trophy and CL football.

As fucked as the league has been that equates to a successful season. And then, in something of a backflip, if we win the EL I am giving Ange the first 6 games of next season to see where we are at.

Amorim has already more or less said he'll be playing the kids in the league. I doubt if Ange will be that blunt about it, but surely that's the approach.

If you think about it, it would probably be the Spursiest thing ever if we won our first trophy in 17 years and then finished 17th in the League ..

Honestly, that would be amazing! After watching last night's match, we should really consider 3 at the back. Then you can let Porro and Udogie run wild, which is their natural state anyway. Honestly, don't play anyone in the Liverpool match. Put everything into this tourney. Winning the UEFA cup will change the entire trajectory of this club.

It will certainly be a great end to a shit season. With Champions league football and maybe a reprieve for Ange....but will it change the entire trajectory of the club ?
No.
We'll have moment's in time but the only thing that will change the trajectory of the club will be the day Levy decides to walk away.

Well that's the dream. That the Europa win and CL drives the value up enough that they decide to sell. Hot fantasy.

Well...maybe the second Spursiest thing. The Spursiest thing ever would to be 18th in the league and lose the UEFA final due to a handball that results in the rule being changed immediately after.

Or us winning, Arsenal finishing 6th and winning CL so we don't get a spot.

The second leg away to Bodo/Glimt is on Thursday the 8th of May.

We had another away game on the 8th of May back in 2019. You might remember the outcome ..
