So he is out for 4 weeks.

Who gives a toss? Seriously. It won't harm our season in the slightest.
I do. He's one of our best players, a huge influence on the team and can make the difference between a win and a draw. Most recent example - Arsenal. I also wanted him to win the golden boot again.

There are exactly zero players in world football who I would swap for Kane.

I'm not saying he's the best player in the world right now.....but I'm also not saying that he isn't. The guy is a genuine freak.

We have been here before no toby (several times now),no mousa (more than several times),no Kane (is it 3 times now with this ankle?) the sky was falling, and guess what,we were fine and probably will be now.Kane was injured last time we had city at home, that turned out ok.Every team misses key players every season,we have been quite adept at ploughing through regardless.

Will we though? I done some of them there stats doohickeys, yeah I know, facts, what did they ever tell us?

We are doomed!

Harry was out for 8 PL games last season, in those 8 games we got 3 of our 8 draws, 37.5% of our season's draws in 21% of the games played. Doomed!

24th September 2016 ,Middlesbrough 1 Tottenham Hotspur 2 - Son Heung-Min x 2
2nd October2016, Tottenham Hotspur 2 - Manchester City 0 - Alli, Kolarov (OG)
15th October 2016, West Bromwich Albion 1 Tottenham Hotspur 1, - Alli
22nd October 2016 , AFC Bournemouth 0 - Tottenham Hotspur 0
29th October 2016, Tottenham Hotspur 1 Leicester City 1 - Jannssen
1st April 2017 ,Burnley, 0 Tottenham Hotspur 2 Dier - Son Heung-Min
5th April 2017, Swansea City, 1 Tottenham Hotspur3 - Alli, Eriksen, Son Heung-Min
19th March 2017 ,Tottenham Hotspur 2 Southampton 1 - Eriksen, Alli

In those 8 Premiership games we got 13 goals, Sonny 4, Alli 4, Eriksen 2, Dier 1, Jannsen 1, Kolarov (OG) that works out to 1,625 goals per game, over the whole season we grabbed 2.26 goals per game. We won 5, 62.5%, our whole season win rate was 68.43%, Doomed.

Nah, of course we're not doomed, we're the New Spurs, the Swansea game last year is the classic example of neo-spursism, 1-0 down from the 11tth minute right up to the 88th minute then bish, bash, bosh 3-1!

As Kolarov is over in Serbialand and won't be giving us a nice own goal, Sonny will have to step up and recent evidence says that will happen. Dele is getting his old form back and has scored in 2 of his last Premier League games.

The only game I am worried about is the West Brom one. What is it with them? We have played them 23 times in the Premier League and have only won 9 of the fuckers! They are absolute pants this season, but I am bothered, another fucking draw there would make me so fucking grumpy. That game is a must win for sure, demons to be killed.

Luckily stats only tell us what happened, not what will happen, only that clever bloke with his education, XGs and bookies odds can do that. It will be fine, no worries.

What I mean is that we can get by and win the games we need to whilst he is unavailable. Our squad is deep enough to cover him for those games.

Thinking about how exhausted he looked in the Euros, a few weeks off may do him some good come the World Cup.

I know what ya was only jesting with ya, I too think this is a good chance fotr others to shine and also I thought against Bournemouth Son played moire like a real striker/forward than in previous seasons. Maybe Poch has had him playing their in training sessions, I dunno but I'm sure Poch would have made some preparations for this situation as was inevitable that he would miss games for smoe period during the season.

I am not even remotely arsed about the World Cup, we should be boycotting it anyway - give the whole squad the summer off.
I've got serious England fatigue... I've been bored of them since about ... 2006?

Every tournament is the same, we make some weird decisions in selection. Take a bunch of either too young players, or over the hill players... missing players in vital positions. Have absolutely no fluency in the team... struggle through the group phases, and go out on penalties... as a best case generally.

And that was before the bollocks of the selections of Russia, and Qatar.

Potentially. They probably did, but they might not have, I like to wait for evidence unlike that woman who goes full mental expelling 'undeclared spies' What the fuck are they? Surely if you declared someone was a spy that would sort of defeat the object of being a spy. It's nice to see our Defence Secretary telling Russia to shut up and go away, in his pathetic whine, very mature, what a wanker that bloke is.

After the Soviet Union collapsed there were loads of chemical weapons places and arms dumps just abandoned, the soldiers didn't get paid so they flogged the WMDs and shit. It 'might' not have been Putin, it probably was, but for me the sensible thing to do would be to ask for their assistance in finding out who did it, make them feel important, you don't have to mean it, it's called diplomacy. IF they couldn't or wouldn't help then you go full mental sanctions on them.

Diplomacy is easy, Putin, Trump and Kim are all ego maniacs so you just say 'Mr President, your hair is looking fine today, that wall is a great idea, now about that trade war...", "Mr President have you lost weight? Your missiles are lovely and huge, but how about we send you some food and you ditch the nukes eh?" or "Mr President you like so manly on that horse with your shirt off not remotely gay, how about joining the EU and you can sit in the big chair and have your turn at wearing the President of Europe badge (like the 12 previous blokes who nobody can remember)".

I would still boycott the World Cup, there are loads of other valid reasons, not least the total corruption of FIFA bunging it to them.

I'd like to think the reason why we have sent home diplomats, froze their assets and started the process of surrounding ourselves with allies tk start further trade embargoes against them is because of precisely that.

I'd wager that we do have enough proof, and we do know that they have done it and this is our preliminary diplomatic reaction.

Yeah the defence secretary... what the actual fuck was that. This man has a huge say in us going to war, with anyone. Sounds just like someone you'd follow into battle doesn't it, very embarrassing.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says he is confident Harry Kane will play again before the end of the Premier League season.

That sounds like good news and I'm sure the Poch won't take even a tiny risk with Harry, he'll be back when he's fixed and the timescale sounds better than we first thought. He should be fit enough to 'snub' Real Madrid in the summer and plan his move to City when Isco goes there, because that is what is being said in the media, yeah really, it is.

Get him fit for the big game against West Brom, I really want to start beating those cunts, we cannot be embarrassed again by them, we'll be OK with Sonny and Dele in easy FA Cup games and a gimme against the chavs but we will need Harry for the baggies!

Sell him now...

Same as we did with Bale...

I obviously jest, but I 100% think there will be those in the club who would take this viewpoint.

I'm not sure anyone wanted to sell Bale, or Modric before him, in fact unite the opppsite. But their respective agents got Madrid interested and they made huge offers, once that happened and the players wanted to go, Levy had little choice. Kane is different at the moment and doesn't want to leave. 2 years time I'm not so sure.....

I think something that is going help us keep players ow is that it's not just Modric, Bale, and VDV doing all the work it's an all round team that people can buy into rather than feeling like a star that has to play in better teams. I hope that's the case anyway...

Two years? Nobody's going to live that long cos that fucking Chinese space station is crashing soon, they say it probably won't kill us all, but you can't believe anything you see on that fake news internet bollocks can you?

I know loads of people are getting worried that Harry will leave sometime, but I don't see the point in mithering about shit in the future, that's why I never bothered with a pension plan, that was very stupid because now I am old - an unexpected outcome really, I never planned on even getting to 50! Luckily Mrs D was sensible and had proper jobs, I haven't had one of them for 30 years, fuck that working for other people gonads, I didn't like that at all. She has a couple of pensions so we will be able to afford a cup of tea now and then. I did have a brief flash of intelligence and have paid my National Insurance contributions, that was sensible, so if I live till 2022 I might get a quid or two.

Yeah good point we have a core of excellent players, Hugo, Toby,Jan, Mousa, Eric, Dele, Christian and OOOO, would all walk into every other Premiership team other than City, and those others like the full backs and Sonny aren't too shabby either, that's 8 great players, these are great times at Spurs..

Some wazzock 'correspondent' said that Vardy was better than Kane the other day somewhere in fake news land. This is obviously totally fucking mental and only takes Vardy's recent goal scoring into account - and scoring goals when he is on form is all he does. Kane is a team player who is an exceptional player all over the pitch (except in goal of course).

I get that strikers like their goals and that Harry doesn’t want to give up on retaining the golden boot but gotta admit to this ‘it’s my goal’ situation being a little desperate and embarrassing, the pics are so inconclusive but I guess if he feels he got the touch, then he has every right to claim it. It’s just the way it’s being played out in the media, just feels like the kid who’s older brother won’t give him his toy back scenario.
