"I'd be surprised if any of my team mates would go now," Kane told Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. "Something is happening here and we just need to take that last step, which is to win trophies."

"It would be stupid to leave now. We've got one of the best coaches in the world - maybe the best. We'll have a new stadium soon. The future is bright."

"We've got a great future and he [Alli] is part of it, so there is no reason for him to leave."

"You've got to decide between earning a lot or following your own ambitions and playing in the best league in the world and winning titles. I don't see any reason why we can't win the Premier League."

I had a little chuckle at that - "You've got to decide between earning a lot or following your own ambitions...." - as if earning 80+ grand a week isn't a lot! More than 3 times the average UK yearly salary, in a fucking week IS A FUCKING LOT!

INJURY UPDATE: We can confirm that @HKane sustained ligament damage to his right ankle during Sunday's FA Cup win against Millwall. The injury is similar to the one suffered by the forward against
Sunderland in Sept last year, however it is not considered to be as severe.Harry will continue to be assessed by our medical staff while he undergoes his rehabilitation at our Training Centre.

Some people still say 6 weeks some say 4! Give it a week then get a big box of deep heat, a couple of tubi grips and get out there and train. :)

It's pushing it a bit to be back in time for the semi, given that he won't have played for 6 weeks but Gazza did it and got us to the final so who knows. Lets hope so.

I normally absolutely hate it when we have 2 weeks without a game, but in this case I'm rather glad.
When we play Southampton on Sunday it'll be a week since his injury, and then our next game away to Burnley is 13 days later. Then we've got Swansea, Watford and Bournemouth in which I'll think we'll manage without him before playing the 2 cunty clubs back to back, since the Leicester game has been postponed.
If he will just be out for 4 or even 5 weeks then we should have him back for the semi. Let's hope so, but it's all a bit too early to tell now. Just need to win our next few league games and get ourselves a few points ahead of the chasing pack before the last few trickier games in the leagues. Really hope we have Kane for that chavs game though.

I've been having a little think this afternoon... there are obviously comparisons at the moment between Kane and Lukaku, especially with the latter being the latest to score a hundred goals before they are twenty four. He did that in 210 appearances.... not bad for a young chap. Then you look at a certain Mr Kane who is on 88 goals in 160 appearances (even including Norwich, yes).... heading towards 10% more likely to score for Kane.

You look at their histories and with the 50 games less experience, with a likelihood that he'll break three twenty goal seasons in a row... with this season heading pretty damed close to a goal a game... are they really in the same league? To me, it feels like with Lukaku there was a twenty goal a season striker waiting to get out. That's where Kane started. Feels like there is a thirty goal a season striker waiting to get out with Kane.

Got to be honest when I first saw him properly against Hearts and Shamrock Rovers? as well as some video at Millwall, I didn't think he would make it at the top level. He just didn't look good enough. Shows how little I know........

Great player and top bloke - even a bit too 'nice' maybe?? Could occasionally do with a bit of Costa/Ibrahimovich in him....?

If that's the game I think it was where he started, and missed a penalty? He did that just after I'd been bigging him up to my Dad as the 'next big thing at Spurs'

Cheers Harry.

Great if it is...although to be sure I'd rather he takes an extra week and is fully fit for Chelsea and Arsenal.

Be good to see him get a run out before the Chelsea game as long as it isn't putting him at risk of course.
