Tottenham are planning to hit Harry Kane with a significant fine after the striker failed to report back to the club on Monday.
Kane was due to return for Covid testing and the start of pre-season after an extended break following the European Championship but chose not to show on Monday morning, as he stepped up his efforts to force through a transfer to Manchester City.

Really a dumb play by him. If City give Levy his fee, he'll sell. If they don't, he won't. Kane is applying pressure to the wrong party here. He should be telling the Sheik it's now or never. Pressuring Levy to take less money is laughable.

Perfect for the club though, they can accept a lesser offer and demonise Kane to lessen the fall out.

Made up shit like everything else. Nobody in the media knows what or why, they are all just putting two and two together and coming up with whatever will work as click-bait.

perfect but in a different way. Fine him his daily rate or more. Send him to reserves to rot should it continue.

No! Surely not? Who will we believe if we can't trust their 'sources' and 'reports'?

The dirty bastard! Refusing to train just because he had to do a compulsory isolation following his trip to the Bahamas, maybe he should have told Plod to fuck off because he is Harry Kane and doesn't need to obey the rules, they're for ordinary people not football stars and politicians. Fucking cunts in the media have stirred up a pile of poo and H should sue the cunts for slander or libel or whatever it is when you shit all over someone's reputation, make up total shite and publish it. The British media is a cesspit, just like the government, two swamps that need draining.

Jamie fucking Carragher knows fuck all about the 'situation', Gary fucking Neville knows a bit less than fuck all, the fucking evil Torygraph knows nothing and cares nothing except making money the evil Fred Barclay and promoting facism in the UK - nobody knows anything. The only FACT is that UK law said that H had to do a 10 day isolation when he got back from the Bahamas - or he can take a test after 5 days to be released, so the earliest he could take a day five Covid test is probably tomorrow. Clickbait shite.

If Harry is indeed self isolating, then shouldn’t he have worked that into his itinerary, so he’s back in training when he was supposed to be. As far as I’m aware, every England player that’s fit from the Euros squad, is back in training.

If he’s been given special dispensation to have a few extra days off, then surely the club would’ve come out by now and squashed all this.

Anyway, only the club and Harry really know the full story, so hopefully it’s all good and the media have just had their annual wet dream over Harry over nothing.

is he still in florida?
Apparently so.

The 28-year-old, it is understood, still plans to report back to the club this weekend but it is likely that he will only be able to take a Covid test at their HQ before then having to complete a period of isolation ahead of a return to training.

The Spurs talisman will be required to isolate for up to 10 days upon his return.

He can, however, take a ‘test to release’ procedure on day five of his arrival home which would end his quarantine period provided he produces a negative result. It is understood Kane intends to take the day five test.

Nevertheless, the fact Kane was still in Florida on Wednesday means he will not commence training until the start of next week at the earliest.

The development virtually rules Kane out of being available for the clash against City a week on Sunday given he won’t have played in any pre-season fixtures or trained for an extended period.

I'm surprised at him as well, but let's face it, Harry's in the latter stages of his exit strategy. Why else has he posted nothing about his absence on his Twatter, knowing the furore that's been unleashed?

The press are scum, it's true, but they are very good at tracking people down. He's in Florida. If he's fully vaccinated (I suspect he is, unless he's a completely brainless antivaxxer, which tbh seems not out of the question of late) then he could pass a test today, get off a flight at LHR tomorrow morning, rock up to the training ground, pass another test and join in the fun, according to the revised amber list rules.

Harry Kane is a club legend, and I'm sure he has a legitimate case against Levy/ENIC, but his actions are hurting the club and the supporters. If City will cough up, he can fuck right off, as soon as possible please.

Mate, why should H give a fuck about the club that has renaged on its promises every year for the last and best 5 years to date of his career...?

Levy has created this horse shit with a decade of underinvestment and meddling in the on field aspect of the club.

H deserves to be rewarded for dragging our sorry arses out of the shit for the last 2 seasons and if that means he has to go and earn half a million quid a week up in Manchester then it'll be tough watching him go, but he deserves it.

I expect him to leave and I expect him to have to dig his heels in to force Levy to not be the cunt we all know he is.

I am not taking any stock of the social and traditional media until its from the club or from H himself telling us what has gone on.

Whatever happens, this club will continue to go nowhere until we stop focusing on our investment portfolio and start focusing of playing the best quality football consistently.

I don't disagree with anything you say here. I love Harry Kane and am very appreciative of what he's done for us. But now he's decided to go, he'd better go very quickly in return for a extra large pile of cash. Whether Levy can be trusted to spend that cash on improving the team is a matter for another thread (although the answer is of course no).

Edit - but I am very cross with HK for his current ghosting
