Kane set to face fine after failing to show for Spurs training

Tottenham are planning to hit Harry Kane with a significant fine after the striker failed to report back to the club on Monday.
Kane was due to return for Covid testing and the start of pre-season after an extended break following the European Championship but chose not to show on Monday morning, as he stepped up his efforts to force through a transfer to Manchester City.
Perfect for the club though, they can accept a lesser offer and demonise Kane to lessen the fall out.
No! Surely not? Who will we believe if we can't trust their 'sources' and 'reports'?Appears as if the club knew he was going to be late and the media blew it all out of proportion![]()
So he wasnt allowed back to training until today? There a source on this?
Apparently so.is he still in florida?
The 28-year-old, it is understood, still plans to report back to the club this weekend but it is likely that he will only be able to take a Covid test at their HQ before then having to complete a period of isolation ahead of a return to training.
The Spurs talisman will be required to isolate for up to 10 days upon his return.
He can, however, take a ‘test to release’ procedure on day five of his arrival home which would end his quarantine period provided he produces a negative result. It is understood Kane intends to take the day five test.
Nevertheless, the fact Kane was still in Florida on Wednesday means he will not commence training until the start of next week at the earliest.
The development virtually rules Kane out of being available for the clash against City a week on Sunday given he won’t have played in any pre-season fixtures or trained for an extended period.
So he’s being a cuntApparently so.

Kane effectively rules himself OUT of Tottenham's opener against City
SAMI MOKBEL: As previously reported by Sportsmail, Kane had stopped in Florida on his way back from a holiday in the Bahamas despite the fact he was due to report for training on Monday.www.dailymail.co.uk
If he is, then I have to admit I'm very surprised by him!So he’s being a cunt
Mate, why should H give a fuck about the club that has renaged on its promises every year for the last and best 5 years to date of his career...?I'm surprised at him as well, but let's face it, Harry's in the latter stages of his exit strategy. Why else has he posted nothing about his absence on his Twatter, knowing the furore that's been unleashed?
The press are scum, it's true, but they are very good at tracking people down. He's in Florida. If he's fully vaccinated (I suspect he is, unless he's a completely brainless antivaxxer, which tbh seems not out of the question of late) then he could pass a test today, get off a flight at LHR tomorrow morning, rock up to the training ground, pass another test and join in the fun, according to the revised amber list rules.
Harry Kane is a club legend, and I'm sure he has a legitimate case against Levy/ENIC, but his actions are hurting the club and the supporters. If City will cough up, he can fuck right off, as soon as possible please.
I don't disagree with anything you say here. I love Harry Kane and am very appreciative of what he's done for us. But now he's decided to go, he'd better go very quickly in return for a extra large pile of cash. Whether Levy can be trusted to spend that cash on improving the team is a matter for another thread (although the answer is of course no).Mate, why should H give a fuck about the club that has renaged on its promises every year for the last and best 5 years to date of his career...?
Levy has created this horse shit with a decade of underinvestment and meddling in the on field aspect of the club.
H deserves to be rewarded for dragging our sorry arses out of the shit for the last 2 seasons and if that means he has to go and earn half a million quid a week up in Manchester then it'll be tough watching him go, but he deserves it.
I expect him to leave and I expect him to have to dig his heels in to force Levy to not be the cunt we all know he is.
I am not taking any stock of the social and traditional media until its from the club or from H himself telling us what has gone on.
Whatever happens, this club will continue to go nowhere until we stop focusing on our investment portfolio and start focusing of playing the best quality football consistently.
