It is time. I used to do a thread like this in the other place, now I will do one here!

After 7 Games compared with previous PL seasons:

All the numbers and stuff can be found here:

Points : Highest ever
Position : Highest ever
Goal Difference : Highest ever
Games Lost : Lowest ever, we have never previously gone 7 games in the PL without losing!
Wins : Joint Highest
Goals Conceded : Joint Lowest
Goals For : Joint 2nd Highest, ( this will annoy the numpties I 'spect! )

Due to THREE incidences of referee corruption / incompetence the scum are sitting at the top of the Recent Form table - on Goal Difference, just one goal, one of the ones they were crookedly awarded! 6 extra points have been given to them in just 7 matches by decisions that would have been obvious to anyone who didn't need a guide dog.

Teams scoring 17 points after 7 games in previous seasons:

12 Teams have been on 17 points after 7 games.
The highest final position achieved from this position was 1st.
0 Teams have been relegated from this position ( 0% )
10 Teams have achieved a Top 4 finish from here ( 83.33% )
WAFP (Weighted Average Final Position) - 2nd

All the juicy stats and stuff for other points totals after 7 can be viewed here:

Keep it up boys!!!! I think we'll be a tough nut to others to crack this season much like large parts of last season. West Brom, Bournemouth and Leicester give us a great chance of straying right up there before we go into a tough month in November with 3 derbies then Manure away early December. Honestly though, I'm looking forward to Novembers fixtures!!! COYS!!

It's probably a bit bleeding' obvious but stats are fun!

After 21 Games compared with previous PL seasons:

All the numbers and stuff can be found here:

Position 2nd : Highest
Goals For 43 : Highest
Goals Against 14 : Lowest
Goal Difference 29 : Duh!

Points 45 : 2nd Highest ( 46 in 2012 )
Wins 14 : 2nd Highest (14 in 2012)

Teams scoring 45 points after 21 games in previous seasons:

6 Teams have been on 45 points after 21 games.
The highest final position achieved from this position was 1st.
0 Teams have been relegated from this position ( 0% )
6 Teams have achieved a Top 4 finish from here ( 100% )
WAFP (Weighted Average Final Position) - 2nd

All the juicy stats and stuff for other points totals after 21 can be viewed here:

NO team ever has failed to reach the top four from 42 points or more after 21 games - 49 teams have been here, this stat WILL be busted to bits this season as 5 teams are on 42 or more, fingers crossed!

Great stuff, the only thing as you point is that this season is unique in itself with the top 5 clubs and arguably the top 6 clubs in a league of their own with an extraordinary number of points. How brilliant to be involved right at the top, our club is transforming itself right in front of our eyes and we'll be in a new 61,000 seater stadium soon.

Still top of the recent form table!

Best position, Goals For, Goals against, Goal Difference (duh!) ever in the Premiership after 23 games, 2 less points than 2012, but we didn't do so after that back then, farking Adebayor was out top goalscorer then and he only got 17 in the whole season, Harry will get loads more than that. Doing Nice!

I am in a stats sort of mood today, so you'll be getting loads of this stuff!

Oh Gordon H Bennet, gave a gander at these statistics geezers! We are the bestest we have have been at this stage of the Premier League in the entire history of the world (well the premiership anyway). My sausage machine is very fussy and will only spurt out the stats for 28 games, because it demands that all the teams have played the same number of games, it does not like comparing kippers and custard, so based on 28 games:

  • Joint best ever position, 2nd, the same as last year
  • Highest number of wins
  • Lowest ever number of losses
  • Most ever goals scored
  • Lowest ever goals conceded
  • Best ever goal difference (duh!)
  • Highest number of points
  • We are the only PL team unbeaten at home
  • We are top of the recent form table

Obviously those stats still apply after 29 games, because nobody can alter anything with their games in hand, United and the scum can win their 29th game 100 nil and it will not make a tad of difference.

Can anybody seriously doubt how fucking good the Poch is? Levy has in real terms spent fuck bleeding all on players, we have had many more injury problems this season and still we are doing this magnificently, fucking blimey geezers. POCH IN!

Tottenham Hotspur - 28 games played in the premier League stats

Some more squirtings from the sausage machine. The Recent Form table is pucker as a pucker thing! We are cream at the top and the goons are curdled slime.

Premier League Recent Form Table

Ha bleeding ha!

15 points from a possible 18 for us in the last 6 with a goal difference of plus 7. Just 4 measly points from 18 for the goons with a goal difference of minus 5 and they are in 17th position - Wenger In!. Can anyone not see that yawning chasm that is the gap? Luckily we can mind the gap here because there are no thought police who will silence us if we dare to say things they don't want to hear, MIND THE GAP! Even in the Big Brother world of the other place where you will be sent to Room 101 if you dare to utter a word about the gap the doubters are a bit quieter - in their world we were still shite for most of the match against Burnley until the 'wage thief' Dier banged in this goal, but they are quiet, for now.

The most important thing for me this season is to start to shake off this 'Spursy' tag. We are well placed in the league, now at least 3 points in hand over those chasing us and in the semi final of the FA Cup. We have to be reasonably successful in one or other of these, even with our injuries. By which I mean coming top 3 in the league or winning the Cup. This talented group and manager need something to show for their undoubted talent, sometime soon.

I still maintain this season has been quite remarkable so far when you consider that in those 29 games i reckon poch has been able to select his 1st choice side in 5 games max

EDIT Saw a quote it was 2 games

Forty-two is a pronic number and an abundant number; its prime factorization 2 · 3 · 7 makes it the second sphenic number and also the second of the form (2 · 3 · r). As with all sphenic numbers of this form, the aliquot sum is abundant by 12. 42 is also the second sphenic number to be bracketed by twin primes; 30 is also a pronic number and also rests between two primes. 42 has a 14-member aliquot sequence 42, 54, 66, 78, 90, 144, 259, 45, 33, 15, 9, 4, 3, 1, 0 and is itself part of the aliquot sequence commencing with the first sphenic number 30. Further, 42 is the 10th member of the 3-aliquot tree.

OK, all that is a bit obvious, 42 is also the "Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything", calculated by an enormous supercomputer named Deep Thought over a period of 7.5 million years.

Most importantly 42 is our current Goal Difference, forty fucking two! That is TEN more than we have ever had at this stage of a Premier League season.

42!

In the period that the 3 season top scoring wonder has been injured, we have scored 16 goals in 4 1/2 games.

We're doomed without Kane.....he's the only one who can score for Spurs....well apart from Dele........and er Son, apart from them and Dier of course. Apart from them Kane is the only person who scores for Spurs and when he is injured we've had it....oh and Eriksen, apart from them we're doomed.

Left back - The most important position in the team, thank god for the new messiah Ben Davies.
That NEVER ends well does it, playing Welsh blokes on the left, don't we ever learn?

That's why Davies is a disappointment, he's not getting 20+ goals a season.

Not worth the money, obviously. Send him back.
