Jarrod Bowen: Spurs want him, he desperately wants spurs. £15 million is the figure spurs want to pay but Hull want more and spurs unwilling to increase offer significantly with other more pressing issues in the squad. One to watch.

The special one insists he’s the one , incredible how much levy buys into the Jose myth , getting levy to lump it on a 28 year old

also says 'not true' that its not happening/fee too high

I hear CE told club 4 years ago, and I shared that privately then, that he would not be signing another contract. Once we held unto him end of 2017/2018 season, he was always going to run down his contract, unless 2 Spanish giants came calling. From what I have deciphered, he will see out his contract, and go on a free.

yet, weirdly enough he had indicated in the summer he ‘may’ sign a new contract, as all was agreed, but with heavy clauses. We know the rest.

Badly managed by the club to now be in this position. Lot of loan inquiries, haven’t heard anything concrete about outgoing sales. Will save the rest for now.

Subject: loads of people bitching about how we fucked up not just paying a bit more and getting Grealish

Gealish was a complicated one tbh. I can completely understand why Levy did what he did because Villa had to sell and from their end it was very close to happening for the money we wanted to pay. The takeover came from nowhere and happened super quickly and from that point on he was never going to be allowed to leave. They never wanted to sell so were holding out for as long as possible hoping for a cash injection so they didn't need to sell, but it got to a point where they had to. We moved then the new investors appeared. It wasn't like we could have just paid a bit more and got it done because that wasn't possible.

This is from a combination of the villa end and JG people.

KWP & CPFC. They want loan only! We want ‘loan with compulsory option!’ We value him as a young English at 20m. But fee could be lower if they agree to massive sell on etc.

Foyth. We won’t allow loan only, and if we do then high loan fee. We rather sale at ‘unrealistic price’. Various options being explored against the interest received.

My penny’s worth based on what I just said. If we were to sell, we want crazy money for him, well in excess of 15m, which I cannot see someone paying, unless they really done their homework, as we would still likely put some sell-on/option in transfer.

loan would be with a sizeable loan fee, and I guest that at 5m.

More info when cleared by those I get collate my info from.

We are interested, but no official bid. We prefer loan with option (if it works out). Milan want sale with negotiable payment structure. We offered one player for sure as a sweetener. Won’t disclose whom, but squad player. Other strike options being discussed. But names will wind some up, and I don’t know what it would do to the others.

For avoidance of doubt and pointless discussions on his value, I said ‘in excess of 15m!’
And I mean way, way beyond that. Any further discussions, please let it be had in the relevant player thread!:smug:

Trying on both the twin names. Everyone speaking about it, so wanted to let it flow. Foyth out possibly on loan in Europe. We are strong favourites for Eze in the summer. We want loan deal on potential striker, with options if it works.

some stuff from dragon1, some itk some opinion probably
I did not know about Fernandez until yest , but it’s def happening (gedson)
we’re in talks with another Portuguese international I can’t say too much but much more experienced than Fernandez and I’m not referring to bf (not silva at milan, not moutinho)
think Jose is going to totally rebuild us
we are in for eze and he is likely to join
I would say loris , Toby , son , Kane and Alli are immortal and sess and tanganga will be part of the new dawn , everyone else is on trial between now and may
Kwp , Ccv and foyth all will leave on loan or be sold this window as not in squads everyone else needs to perform , it will be one in one out starting with Eriksen out and gelson in this week , this may well take three to four windows , we will take a lot of Mendez players but he will not drive our transfer policy

A little heads up. We ideally want CB, Midfielder, striker. With our budgeting, aiming for 2 loans. I think we will bring in one midfielder (Benfica Fernandes) and striker (loan). Can’t see 3. As we are financially restricted until the summer. Not unusual to hear multiple names/targets, who we have/are speaking to. We will speak to 3-4, with only one out that lot being done. Frugal way in January market. The targets are on the list, and if can do deal early (loan options) we would do them. I have already explained the thinking.

I read that we are amateurs in the window when in fact our new manager wants to rebuild the whole team with different players to previously what we looked at under MP and as he has been here only 2 months its a change in direction. So we cant or wont exactly go out and buy a whole new team in January!
His team will revolve around Tanguy who he believes is top class. Add in Harry Sonny Alli Toby Hugo and you have the spine
Slowly things will evolve but i fear not at the pace for a lot of people on here but that is the reality.
Please do not post this anywhere else.
I also can concur with the others when they say that we are now actively looking at bringing in players especially in midfield.
Thank you

We have earmarked 5 key players, not necessarily the biggest names that we want by summer window. Anyone signed now either way would be on that list. They are RB/CB who can play across the back/2 midfielders of which one specialist DM/ Striker, who as well as playing if H rested etc, one who could also play with him, and versatile. Some of JM’s early targets deemed too expensive. But alternatives he is happy with. Aside from the obvious names out there, there is a list of players and their agents; more so we are engaged with the actual agents.

I've been reluctant to post on the main forum(have behind the scenes)because others have said differently, but I've heard it on three separate occasions now.

JM not keen on GLC and would rather the loan cancelled and the money was spent elsewhere.

On GLC, as what Trix shared. Very interesting how this one ends up, because we have a commitment with RB. Only price difference; we pay less if we don’t make CL. But as far as I am aware we have an obligation to make it permanent. DL trying to haggle it down. My gut feeling is we will make it a permanent. The board’s take is, we cannot discard just like that, especially with our outlay thus far. Loan fee was not cheap neither, and arranged to offset our permanent deal with him.

As I said was reluctant to post because others were hearing different. Heard it first at the begining of Dec, heard it again today third time three completely different sources. Could all stem from the same source, but I doubt it.

Little update. If (which I expect-opinion) we activate GLC’s loan to a permanent, our now until mainly summer will see JM get his 5 players in total that he wants. You will then see couple youngsters come in, like O’Neil (possibly-opinion, as failed in the summer),and defo Eze (more than opinion). If GLC signs and DL faks up with bullshit lies and broken promises, expect fireworks to the media.

His agents and team deliberately leaking to the media, and club dear not tackle it. He is already hinting in interviews, but you have to listen very carefully. And regardless of what you hear, he is keen on BF. But could only see in t

Summer interest in O’Neil, Eze, Bowen among others. Jan interest in Ferg and MA. Our transfer strategy is evidently *in part* driven by recruiting the best homegrown young talent. This for me is what our club is all about (along with a successful academy of course) and I’m all for it. Also shows that we have an eye on the future so hopefully we have learnt from our mistakes (standing still and allowing our squad to decline).

To clarify, I have been told we are in dialogue with both Max Aaron’s and Ferguson of WBA and their respective clubs. Both are on a list of RBs, one of whom will likely come in should KWP leave.

KWP will only happen if we bring in a RB. And I feel he will go Palace on initial loan with option. Only deal we will consider.

We have been in dialogue with Max for the last 18 months. We still didn’t make an offer for him last summer as we wanted to see how he developed in the Prem this season. However it’s looking very unlikely Norwich will let him go in Jan. This could be one for the summer if we don’t go for other options sooner.

To add further misery, the players changing rooms were broken into. Let’s just say Toby is not happy at all! On a positive note they caught the bloke.

In line with what Herc said, we are in a good position to sign Eze in the summer but he is highly unlikely to be joining this window. That said, other big clubs are keen on him including Manchester United, so we will have to be quick and efficient to get him in the summer. He prefers us though

Another one for the summer: McNeil of Burnley. Very talented and young. Spurs very interested, but like with Eze not happening in this window due to other priorities. We’re interested last summer but focus was elsewhere.

One other thing to add. The lad prefers move to Tottenham over United. He may decide to wait until summer for us. He hasn’t necessarily chosen United over us. It’s just a massive deal which is unusual in the Jan market for a number of reasons. Still hopeful just looks unlikely in this window
