We are pushing hard to get 5 or 6 out, but as expected it isn’t easy. There is solid interest in 2 and medium interest in 2. A couple more we would like to leave but no tangible interest yet. Would like to bring in 2 or 3 before the window closes, but not completely confident we’ll get them over the line in time. One CB, one winger and ….. I don’t remember the position of the other one. Sorry.

As I have just heard, we want to bring in 3 players. Few outs really close. This includes loans

We've had a longstanding interest in David so doesn't surprise me one bit if we've put a big bid in for him.

"Hefty bid made for Saulsson Manorsdad." (Jonathon David)

Still plugging away to strengthen the CB position. Aim is to get in one more; possibly two if we can shift Sanchez or Dier.

Would like both a winger and a striker, however the former is considered a higher priority. Although we continue to work on it, our top target on the winger list looks like he's going elsewhere. #2 has a release clause above our ceiling valuation. So we're moving forward with options #1 and #3 in parallel. All of them Ange-approved.

Told v quiet we are struggling to move players out and Daniel does not want to spend what we do not receive first which makes me think the maddison , vdv buys was the kane money

told most likely is another center half over a forward , they like orban and are monitoring but no more than 50/50 chance of a deal , center half more likely

Daniel is more sensitive over wages than transfer fees

incomings will depend heavily on shifting Tanguy who is on 200k a week , Loris 100k and Sanchez 80k a week

get movement on them then we may have one or max two buys

Oh there's no doubt we are trying to move them. The real question is how much are we willing to lose/compromise in order to do so.

Our interest goes back two years. Involves couple our players, and at least one player. Ange rates him

Looks like we will definitely be getting some outs. Let's hope it's enough and with enough time to get the in's. Tbh at this stage I'd just take the outs as it gives us a better chance in future windows. Anything else would be a welcome bonus.

I'm still optimistic at this stage despite how much needs to happen.

Huge week ahead for the club, a few players are edging closer to the exit door, hopefully we can shift enough to get a couple more in but we need to get moving.

Club are still confident it can get a couple more in and for those who think Daniel feels what we have is enough based on Ange's early tenure, its quite the opposite. He has been massively impressed with what Ange has done in such a short space of time and wants to give him what he needs. But the squad is massively bloated and he needs to start taking some hits to shift the deadwood.

I honestly don't know how it's going to pan out, but this is a huge week for the club. It's very early days but I've been so impressed by Ange, give the man what he wants and let's see what he can do.

Will pass anything on I hear in what looks to be a busy week.

Could be an exciting week. May seem obvious. Confidence high we will get the very least 2 players we need, striker and back up CB, which are seen as priorities. Ideally we would like a wide forward Specialist also. If Pierre goes we not sure on bringing in a replacement, as funds may not be there. Gio may still go. If he does then anything goes.

As I’ve mentioned before, as much as Ange would like another striker, he believes a winger is an even higher priority for his vision to be implemented.

As others stating there is some credibility to the Johnson rumors , at 50 million we view price as very aggressive so will depend if forest come down and if they take Sanchez/ Spence etc

Things brewing up now next few days be busy

Spence to Leeds possibly

fulham center half in with dier to them on loan a possibility

Nearly but not quite Aly, although I'm not denying he looks very much like the most likely in(along with Tosin),and Ange is on board he's 100% not his #1 choice.

I've had a long conversation this evening with my guy who himself has had this from the top table, and whilst I've been quite vocal in not wanting him, the reasoning for going for him is actually very sound and makes an awful lot of sense.

It's very much more than just a "Levy likes him" or "he's a great bargain". So as much as I don't like DL I'm not going to criticize him if he pulls this off. It is actually joined up thinking as far as 'club signings' go for once.

Also worth noting a CM isn't out of the question if we can shift a few in that position. Ndombele, GLC & Hojbjerg could all leave. Lots of names being thrown around but one we really like.

Just have to wait for outgoings.

As of now, the likelihood of the Tosin deal happening is low. However, this situation might shift in our favor as the deadline approaches. Additionally, we currently have the Gift Orban deal under consideration, including the fee. We are confident that we will secure at least one forward before the deadline. Furthermore, we've been informed that there's a possibility of pursuing Fati towards the end of the transfer window, given the scenario where Felix and Cancelo move to Barca.

We initiated an inquiry for Paulinha, keeping in mind the potential departure of Pierre. The club was informed that his departure could be activated with a fee of 70 million. However, we're exploring the option of including two players in this deal, namely Reguillon and Dier, which could potentially bring the price down.

I forgot to mention that Brennan Johnson is a top contender for the forward position, and the clubs are currently working on the financial details to determine if this is a viable option. Meanwhile, we've been receiving offers from agents all across Europe, both for loan and permanent deals. The week ahead is expected to be busy with twists, turns, and uncertainties. Hopefully, we can secure what we believe is necessary before January with moving the players not required for the season ahead .

United have offered us Maguire for PEH

We need a cb they need a midfielder . Could be a late deal if it materialises. The preference is cash but if we don’t secure the cb we want could be a puzzle to watch

They will swap for Pierre . Club wants cash like I said . But it could be a late deal if it gets sticky.

He wasn’t the only one they offered. Theyre trying to trim there squad like us and recruit aswell

Which player is being referenced here as "not Ange's 1st choice" but he's on board with it?
Is it the Torino CB Perr Schuurs?

Something else to add. Ange hasn't identified or asked for any of the players that have come in. He's told the club what positions he thinks need strengthening and what those players will need to be able to do. The club has then presented him with a list for each position and he's yay or neighed them. The powers that be have then made the final decision which ones they could do.

When you hear journalists saying about Madison for example "Ange really pushed fo him, he was his first choice", the fact is he was all but certainly coming anyway regardless of who came in, and they just wanted the gaffer to have the final say.

This is me eating a bit of humble pie here, because this is how things should be done and I've been slagging Levy all Summer. I will of course caveat this with.... It's took him 22 years to work it out and it's only one window( that isn't even over).

Subject: Panic about HG with a couple days left?

It's not really panic with a few days left, if anything it's actually forward planning. It's quite refreshing to hear the new approach to transfers and also great that FP & DL etc are addressing a potential future issue now. It's also changing all the time depending on who stays/leaves. FP has also put in an incredible amount of work behind the scenes with the youth and the club are confident it will reap the rewards so that we don't need to pay £50m (ish) for a HG player. FWIW, BJ now looking very very likely.

There's no panic. It's about future proofing ourselves now or kicking the can down the road, and looking at it in future windows. Problem with option 2 is that it will limit who we can get in at that point, and it could well limit us to only being able to bring in HG options. Right now we have two players that Ange believes will strengthen his options that are both HG and that are both obtainable whilst hopefully also moving players on that are not wanted.

The window has been incredibly chaotic within the club today. I just received an update indicating that if United makes headway with Pierre, a potential that's gaining momentum, we might solidify our interest in Sofyan Amrabat. Fabio has suggested Amrabat as a more feasible option given the current expense associated with Paulinha . We also haven’t ruled out not replacing Pierre but ideally ange wants a replacement with Bentancur out still to fill a cm position.

We want both

Yeah something is definitely moving here. No idea how this all pans out with Johnson etc but something definitely in the Fati rumours. I mentioned him weeks ago somewhere on here and then it went quiet.
