It's a child's book FFS! 🤦‍♂️

Was looking for a French language book for my Grandson as he's been 'into' France since the world cup, and I think learning a language is a good idea.

Well fuck me...

Fantastic but worrying propaganda.​

I would give this book five stars as I think it's excellent but the fact that most of the people in this book are black or people of colour is difficult for me teaching french to a small child who lives in England. 95% of our country is white, and France has a similar percentage, so why are most of the characters in the book not white?


This is a real Amazon review for a French learning book aimed at kids 5-7. It's a child's book to learn French FFS!

What these bigot's fail to recognise in the current climate with right wing ideologies being made much more mainstream, is that when this all ends and we return to a more normal, caring and progressive world, that their words will be remembered and amplified back at them and they will pay for their narrow, small minded, backwards attitudes...
