Well December wasnt too bad in the end,so we sit just 3 pts off 3rd,1 pt off 4th.This time last year we went on an excellent run,if we get a very manageable more than 9pts from this run then its all on!!15pts and the hope might kill me!!!

Also in this month
liverpool v city
everton v city
united v liverpool
liverpool v chelsea

and thats before any banana skins!!
Of course moving through in the cup would be what is expected,lets hope so and a nice home tie in the 4th round too!!

I am really trying,but already,my mind is allover next weekends game.

I think if we win this, winning the title will be beyond City, although that's easier said than done. Should be a great game, I think Poch will go for it, Harry style....although Harry's approach now seems so unscientific by today's standards....crazy really.

4 games,10 pts from 12 including chelsea and city (away),and still the away game at sunderland and surely,surely a gimme at home in the cup to lower league.Sunderland away is massive with our next away game at liverpool,takes a huge load off if we win at the makems in advance of that.Pretty sure this weekend most of the starters will get a break,in feb cups start and the squad will be tested in depth.Maybe someone will really shine,CCV?Edwards?Onomah?Nkoudou??Most importantly Janssen,maybe cups will allow him chances away from the premier league?

We will need to be careful we don't slip up at Sunderland, they are due a win and are at home, with the little man scoring goals. Our boys will have just come back from some Spanish sunshine and will need to be fully focussed, or we might get a Swansea/Liverpool moment. We should have enough of course and hopefully with a good display I reckon 1-3 to us, they can stay in the North East for a few days because Middlesboro are up 4 days later. Win both and we really would be cementing ourselves at the top of the table, with a great belief and momentum. Keep it going lads, fantastic February coming up anyone??
