I am "content" with thatI notice the Welsh runt at the other place, who has been whining on about not taking the cups seriously, now can't bring himself to praise the team selection this evening. As a result of being incapable to offer anything positive he has instead launched a diatribe against Poch, questioning his ability and helping us with his assessment that 'is Poche all that?'
This utter twat is my new favourite complete wanker. Please go and support someone else, you're a disgrace.
That team is a statement...with a couple of possible interpretations...Lloris (C),Walker, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele, Winks, Sissoko, Dele, Kane
Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Eriksen, Onomah, Nkoudou, Son.
Not fucking about here are we!!

I don't know what it is.....we're going through a flat spell. It's almost like we're a bit complacent and expect to score without putting the effort in.I'm sure it's just a mini flop, we'll need to up the tempo quick and certainly before Sunday. Perhaps we're missing Jan and Danny more than we realise and it's changed the shape and flow in the team. We badly need them back it seems. There is something just not right at the mo (& the last few weeks).
Played with 8-9 starters against a mid table, rotating Belgian side & couldn't generate anything.
Under Poch, even when we didn't play well, we still outworked the opposition.
Here there wasn't any pressing without the ball or quick 1, 2 touch passing. Took too long on the ball & did nothing with it.
No imagination or urgency. Totally out of sync.
Can't find too many positives other than despite playing so poorly we only lost by one.
1 goal from a penalty in 4 games is a big problem, not sure how jan impacts that, and roses loss shouldnt destroy our ability to create chances. Its not like we are missing a hatful of chances either. But we had a spell like this before and suddenly we were flying again, lets hope Dr Fulham will see us on sunday.I don't know what it is.....we're going through a flat spell. No but what Jan and Danny missing means is that we can't play the preferred 3 at the back with seemingly any sense of security, and thus we can't do wingbacks, certainly without Danny's pace on the left, and hence the shape, flow and goals have temporarily dried up.1 goal from a penalty in 4 games is a big problem, not sure how jan impacts that, and roses loss shouldnt destroy our ability to create chances. Its not like we are missing a hatful of chances either. But we had a spell like this before and suddenly we were flying again, lets hope Dr Fulham will see us on sunday.
And absolutly no chance I am starting the omt after the last 2 results!!
I know having a solid platform lets you go gung ho a bit more, but last weeks eriksen, dele, son, kane havent sparkled, not sure why?cant all be down to formations? No doubt next game we win everyone will be crowing on about worldbeaters again. At least we have had a solid warning now before fulham!!No but what Jan and Danny missing means is that we can't play the preferred 3 at the back with seemingly any sense of security, and thus we can't do wingbacks, certainly without Danny's pace on the left, and hence the shape, flow and goals have temporarily dried up.
I'd be prepared to gamble on three at the back against Fulham, although they also have some young pacy players. We did against Arsenal and it worked well. I'd play the following and give it 30mins, can always change it if necessary. Need @Dorset back for the OMT etc.
Lloris
Eric, Toby, Wimmer
Walker, Wanyama, Winks, Davies (or Son later)
Alli, Eriksen
Kane
(play Demeble against his old club for the first hour if he's fit enough instead of Winks)
You're right, I think we missed Eriksen's creativity last night, we were better when he came on. I think we beat Fulham if we play something like the strong team mentioned above. Problem is that we now need another strong team next Thursday and against Stoke....before they get a week off. At some stage we need Sissoko to start firing, it just doesn't work him being out on the left wing, he needs to be more central I think? Something has to change somewhere!!I know having a solid platform lets you go gung ho a bit more, but last weeks eriksen, dele, son, kane havent sparkled, not sure why?cant all be down to formations? No doubt next game we win everyone will be crowing on about worldbeaters again. At least we have had a solid warning now before fulham!!

I dont disagree about dele`s better area, but they should all get on and do what Poch asks of them,he has shown himself to be a ruthless so&so.If Dele has attitude he`ll have to wind it in,cos good as he is great prospect as he is,he`s not above a slapping down.I hope he isnt getting too big for his boots. You have to play consistantly way above what he has been doing to get away with that.Re Dele
When Dembele was subbed (by Son?),Dele was dropped deeper next to Wanyama in Dembele's place.
IMHO, he didn't operate well there & you could even see it in his body language when told where to go by Son.
He didn't want to be there. It seems playing so deep is not his preference. Dele is far better more forward. Being that 2nd threat next to / just behind Kane.
Then again, that wasn't really working for the first 70 mins so something had to change.
