Can you really sell a guy who has scored twice in his last 30 seconds of football?

Levy has an interesting decision to make and I wonder how Conte will play it. Personally I think that Bergwijn has a place in our squad.

There's way way worse players...

We have never exploited his strengths... he's got a lot about him.

For me, if Moura has stated he wants to go home to retire, Bergwine is a ready made replacement.

Lol, OK... Off his bellend...!!!

He did pretty well I thought.

Certainly no worse that the guy he replaced. I am not sure what everyone sees in Emerson. He's really not great going forward and has no final ball. He defends ok, but then so does Doherty. I'd like to see Doherty given a run of games. Emerson needs time to develop into the RWB role but he's nowhere near it yet.

Reading this thread from the beginning knowing the result is brilliant.

Get the fuck in, three fantastic points. Onwards and upwards. Apparently the latest comeback for a win in PL history.

At 94 minutes I was so angry, we should have been out of sight…..at 97 minutes I was bouncing off the ceiling. Thank you Don Tony we’re all getting excited and passionate again.

That’s a huge result and could shape the rest of this season. The joy of supporting Spurs - Ajax all over again - what the actual fuck.

Chelsea away at the weekend - I’ll do a last minute match day thread eh?

Conte gong off his trolley when the winner went in tells you what it means.

I did the same...made it all the sweeter, letting me think I knew it all, all along.

Was watching with a buddy, we both independently lost our shit when we saw Doherty slapping hands as he came on for the second half. Then grew incredulous as he basically bent the game to his will. Watched Bergwijn trot on, confidently said he'd just run into defenders, attempt low-percentage trickery and throw himself to the ground every time his boots touched grass inside the box.

Man, I love being wrong. Haven't seen players in our squad improve in a long time, and now it seems every last one of them is doing exactly that. Sanchez, Winks, Doherty and Bergwijn: we all wanted all of them out not two months ago. And Kane we thought was playing ´possum.

And now we're chasing Chelsea and Liverpoooool! C O Y S !

After the first few months of the season under Nuno, it's mind boggling to see that we could mathematically achieve 2nd in the league with all of the games in hand we have.

That won't happen, but CL qualification is definitely on though.

Just remind me who was responsible foe hiring Nuno and not agreeing terms with Conte first time round...?

One of the first games I have enjoyed from start to finish for fucking yonks. I didn't spend the whole 90 minutes calling our chaps useless cunts, so I was not subject to the 'look that can kill at 500 paces' from Mrs Dorset for using that word. Despite some of the mid-game knee-jerking I read here, tskk, tsk gentlemen this is not the other place, a game last 90 minutes and .... fuck that old bollocks. Nobody was shite last night, every one of the players put in a shift, they remembered that they had to go forwards, they rediscovered the lost science of passing the ball to players wearing the same colour shirt, they realised that they were allowed to challenge for the ball. I would honestly have been happy if we had lost - OK, not happy, but not grumpy because the way we played proved we can still do it and there is hope. Yeah I know that's what kills you but life would be pony as fuck without it eh?

In all seriousness* this is a great fucking line. There are no truer words.

*partial seriousness, actual seriousness has no place in this forum.

One of The best things about the Leicester game was that it showed our collective football knowledge is just marginally above ‘fuck all’ ….and we should just enjoy the Don Tony ride at Spurs for the ride and see where it takes us.

Levy back him or leave immediately
