A bit more from man-of-the-moment Harry Kane: "It probably could’ve been more. It is the first time in my professional career that I’ve done that, there has been a bit of build-up on the race for the golden boot and I wanted at least one or two to put the pressure on but to get four is amazing. I’m now sitting at the top, but we go in with the same mentality, to make sure we win first and foremost and then score as many as I can.

"We are a bit disappointed not to get a clean sheet for Hugo, who is going for the golden glove but all in all it was a good night.

"It was probably one of the best performances of the season.

"I think this is my best season, I missed 11 weeks out and to score the most in a Premier League campaign, I worked hard during my injury to ensure I came back in better shape than I started."

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: "It was very good, fantastic. The motivation, the attitude was so, so good. that's how we want to finish the season.

"Harry Kane's a special player, he loves Tottenham. He means a lot for the team. I tell you always that he's one of the best strikers in the world. His performances show that we are right.

"It's fantastic, the goals he has scored this season despite having two injuries.

"For us to keep our best players, a lot of clubs are interested in them but the players we want to keep will be here next season. If any players leave it's Tottenham's decision. Our fans need to be calm.

"The players must feel they are part of us and want to share in our success."
More from Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, this time speaking about Harry Kane: "It is fantastic for him. It is a season again where he fights to be the top scorer in the Premier League. He is great, he is one of the best strikers in the world. He will try to keep going in the next game and try to finish in the best way.

"He was injured two times in the season but he is so fresh now and he is trying to score a lot of goals to finish at the top. We have another opportunity against Hull."

Worried he will go in the summer? "It is very clear we will keep the players we want to keep and we will maybe sell the players we want to sell. We are so, so calm about our key players. They are happy here, we have an exciting project."

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to Sky Sports: "I am very happy with the performance and the attitude. Fantastic. The only way to improve our mentality is to try and always play in this way.

"Always is important to improve. In the first half we dominated the game, they changed shape in the second half and tried to play with more energy. It was difficult because we conceded the goal but the team tried to keep going and we deserved it."
Tottenham striker Harry Kane to Sky Sports: "I wanted to get one or two goals at least and take it to the final game. I am in the driving seat but there's still one more game. I am not resting on my laurels but I hope to get four more.

"Leicester made it tough for us. They put the pressure on us."

Season not over? "We had been talking about that during the weekend. Hopefully I can get the Golden Boot and hopefully Hugo Lloris can get the Golden Glove. It is disappointing to concede but hopefully we can keep a clean sheet against Hull."

Great first half performance, total domination, there is just one thing, Sissoko. I always try to find a positive and I don't like slagging players off, but I just can't find that glimmer of hope with him. He looks lazy to me, not arsed, maybe I'm wrong but while all the others are working their socks off he just seems to be standing on the wing waiting for the ball, and he lets attackers run past him without any effort to stop them. Am I missing something that others are seeing, I hope so.
Moussa Sissoko's mum had a stair gate until he was 17, just in case.

Could be a big ask for the lads to get up for this one on the back of a pretty emotional weekend. Having said that would love it if we absolutely put these pricks in their place. Interested to see what we do with both RBs missing and would love to see Vincent get some game time. Pretty sure Harry will be having a crack at goal at every opportunity as he tries to nail the golden boot.
I fancy we'll turn them over tho but maybe only just.
Lmao.... I know you wrote this in good spirit.... but hahaha Haaaaaaaaaa

Spot on with Harry though he was diferent level.

I know I'm a bit biased but Dele and the boys are taking the piss....we could be 4 or 5 nil up. It's bloody fantastic to watch and I admire our passion, especially that of Poch.

Great suppprt as well. Keep going I'd love to really smash this lot Vardy and his cronies

Poch'll fix it.

My player of the season mate, he is diferent level

It's almost unfair to give a player of the season mate, they've all been on top of their game, pretty much right thru, not a single weak link.

Tbh I didn't think Vic would get in the team. Thought he'd be a useful squad player when Eric was being rested but he's exceeded all my expectations, much like the team I guess. I just hope this group wins some silverware, it would be a travesty if not.

Heard the traveling fans were chanting "you've got your Leicester back" at 4-1. LOL. I was trying to watch on my phone while traveling, but hard to follow what was going on. What an amazing team this is. Hope Harry bags a couple on the weekend and wins the golden boot at a canter. When I think of all the players that have kicked on this season--Vic, Son, Dele, Eriksen, it's just incredible.

How about his 1st 3 full seasons in england?91 goals shirely he didnt do better?
...or the best scorer on a Thursday in the PL. The stats are strong with this one! Be one with the stats young Jedi and the stats will guide you.

That's the beautiful thing about stats, you can make them say whatever you want, that cunt Hunt (oooh a rhyme!) was on the telly yesterday spouting stats about the NHS and he came up with a classic - we have the best improvement rate in treating heart disease in Europe, note that he didn't say we have the best record of treating heart disease, no, that would be a fib, but we have gone from being total shite to better than total shite, so the stats gurus can say without lying that our improvement rate is the bollocks of the dog. Numpty Brexiteers and Trump fanciers lap this sort of shit up without having to use the few brain cells they have.

NOT Fake New: Under this Tory government we have seen a zero percent growth in zombie infestations. Yesterday's score was the highest away score ever recorded on the 18th May in Premier League history, also we recorded the only ever away win on the 18th May in Premier League history. Harry Kane's Minutes Per Goal is the best recorded by a Golden Boot winner (yes he will win it) in in a season since 2010.

Does the sausage machine predict Kane as youngest player to 100 PL goals or top flight goals? 75 ATM i believe? The stat about as many hatricks as ronaldo, bergkamp, zola, cantona etc combined was a beauty.

Cant verify this one,but its being thrown around;
Tottenham's PL goal difference this season: +54
Tottenham's PL goal difference between 1992-93 & 2011-12: +52

Surely even the most unimpressed by poch spurs fan must concede he is all that !!

The GD stats are TRUE FACTS you stats master you! We have exceeded the goal difference achieved in the first 20 years of the Premier League of 52, this year, so far!

If you were to jiggle the stats a little bit more our total Goal difference from 1993 to 2009, 17 years of Premiership history, was MINUS 8, so that is a massive, yuge percentage increase of whatever the fuck it is when you go from a minus to a plus, probably 775%, fucked if I know, it fucks my brain up trying to calculate percentage improvements from the dark side to the light.

Our average Premier League Goal Difference per season before this year was 4.79, so we have done a tad better, a wafer thin mint's worth of improvement

Maitre D: And finally, monsieur, a wafer-thin mint.

Mr Creosote: No.

Maitre D: Oh sir! It's only a tiny little thin one.

Mr Creosote: No. Fuck off - I'm full... [Belches]

Maitre D: Oh sir... it's only wafer thin.

Mr Creosote: Look - I couldn't eat another thing. I'm absolutely stuffed. Bugger off.

Maitre D: Oh sir, just... just one...

Mr Creosote: Oh all right. Just one.

Maitre D: Just the one, sir... voila... bon appetit...

C'mon then Sissoko, here's your stage, show us why we paid £30 mill for ya!

I have heard recently that DL is only paying 5m per season for Sissono. Did I really say ONLY 5m per season. The guy is shot confidence wise. He only does the safe simple pass and get rid of the ball asap.
Brilliant evening and we didn't stop singing and yes the best chant was ''You have got your Leicester back' I hate fox hunting but we skinned the Foxes last night.
Unfortunately I was standing next to the Numpty of the Season who slagged of Son from the ko. Shouting 'get the useless f*cker off, he can't score, he can't pass'' ''How many more times is he going f*cking miss the goal'' How I kept my cool f*ck knows. Can't believe we still have such fans.
Great evening and my last game of the season.
Bring on Wembley and no mention of the Wembley curse. It's a footie pitch FFS. Keep this ball rolling, Poch.

There was one time I think Kane was approaching the area and sissoko was in the perfect position out wide right,Harry sort of held the ball for 3-4 secs before going fuck it and passed it to him,so it seemed.

I watched some of the game yesterday and Sissono had a couple of good passes and set up good moves resulting in a goal, if I remember rightly but over 90 mins that ain't good enough for our squad.

I agree, he doesn't do enough for me, if he was a Berbatov or a Jimmy G, lazing around for 80 minutes then producing some outstandingly beautiful, game changing football then I might think he was worth keeping. Maybe not these days because when you have a team like ours where work ethic is important and they are all running their little socks off and giving 100%, a 'special' player who was allowed to coast wouldn't do team moral much good. I am not saying he is 'shite', but like other players who we have let go and are undoubtedly top quality, he just don't fit in my opinion. Square peg, round hole.

There's no doubt he's a good player, we saw that for France in Euro 2016, but he just hasn't really performed for us and now looks like a rabbit in headlights. I think he himself would even be relieved if we sold him.

This is the crux of what I was saying somewhere else, at sometime somewhere...

Those players we are synonymous with, the flair players who do fuck all apart from taking on the entire team and nailing one in the stantion every other week we simply don't have... we're so far away from our stereotype right now... so fucking unspursy it's frightening.

And while I revel in us being the actual clitoris of the bitch, in some sadistic way I hanker for a Berbatov, a Ginola, a Greaves'esq player. You could argue Deli is one but with more workrate, more balls, more commitment... but he also isn't one... in all the right ways.

I'm so conflicted...

Maybe it was because of the utter mediocrity that surrounded these players that I hanker for them in a kind of, when they had the ball we had a chance kinda way and i am lookiffng for that surging feeling of hope.

I mean now when we get the ball we almost always look dangerous, there is absolutely no need for hope and we've got bags of ability.... I don't know what the fuck I'm even saying now.

Basically Berbatov was fucking brilliant to watch. Would I want him in our side.... Yeah... and no fucking way...!!!

Skdiejnzkaowo3o392-*#*2*#!#i2j....... ....... .......

I get what you're saying @Yid.

Remember the manure side at their peak in the 90s? We are them without the silverware atm. I'd fancy us against anyone.
