That's the problem when you have a chairman with competing / conflicting objectives.
He'll favour profitability & valuation growth over on field advancement.

According to Alasdair Gold, Vinai Venkatesham is the main man in charge of day to day running of the club, essentially as CEO.

That in itself makes me rather uneasy due to him very likely being complicit in covering for Thomas Partey at Woolwich.

This is what I've felt all along. They'll likely end up installing Levy 2.0 who will be required to keep just as tight a hold on the budget as 1.0 did.

I'd love to be wrong but I don't think we're going to suddenly start spending silly money on players or paying them sill wages either.

Levy has always done things on his terms and I think he left before he was forced to leave.

Amanda Staverly has been in and around the club including being at games for around 6-7 months. Let's not forget that she was the one who got the Saudi Sportswashing Machine takeover done.
