If we sell him in the summer it will seriously test my support of this club like never before. It's the easiest decision in the world to cash in on Romero and use the money to invest in better squad depth when Vuskovic is waiting in the wings.

I'd even say the same about Vicario as well and promote Kinsky.

I suppose the problem would be that we haven't played him for so long that he'd need to find his form again. When he signed and started a couple of games when Vicario was out, he was great and showed a lot of potential.

Vic is a superb Goalie.. he's a shot stopper his problem is after he makes the save.. his distribution is blind and chaotic... ive seen enough of Vic throwing us into danger... Im for giving Kinsky the rest of the season to see what he's got..

I wouldn't agree there lad...he's a good shot stopper, that i would agree with. But he is very weak when it comes to commanding his box. He's not dominant in any way and is very dodgy on high balls when he's under pressure.
I think Kinksy is ok but that's it. Personally I think we need to spend big on the spine...Keeper, Centre half, Central midfielder and a centre forward. We could easily raise serious funds by selling Cuti, Bissouma, Bentancur, Vicario and a few more...and if Mickey went then get 2 centre halves. Once we can get the injury list down to less of a joke, we've got quality in wide areas like Kulo, a bit of creativity in Madders, but if we could just get that spine right...

I think Vic has improved at his presence in the box, but it's still a weakness, and his decision-making in possession leaves something to be desired. Very quick reflexes as jax is talking about. I haven't seen enough of Kinsky to really say but from what we saw last season he's a bit suspect. But also young, to be fair. I definitely think he's an area where we should look to improve.

Weirdly, Vic might as easily say he's looking to improve on us as well by moving to a winning club--and a lot of the guys you're correctly talking about unloading could say the same thing.

Vic is a great shot stopper, his instincts in that department are great, his issue is when he has time, not sure if he's nervous or questions himself. Like you said high balls, distribution ECT. Even weaker shots it seems like he steps the opposite direction before diving. As for "Kinksy,"( I like that spelling) I agree more than likely need a new keeper, but id like to see what he has .. I'm for giving him and the kids a chance, see what they have, yes they would make mistakes but it's not like our "senior players" are solid in any way.
The kids might bring an exuberance to the pitch. I would have kept Moore and Dane and given them a shot.

Your absolutely correct, we need an overhaul... id just like to see if we have any redeemable talent in this squad.

I personally don't think so just yet... When Romero and Micky fail to turn up for pre-season, I think that's when we'll be at our lowest point...

I have a feeling this all started because we're trying to sign van Hecke. Brighton are probably chancing their arm by asking for Vuskovic as part of the deal and the idiots running this club are probably thinking "Wow, we can sign van Hecke for only £20m plus that kid Luke whatsisname. The best possible deal is if it's Ven Hecke for whatever and we loan Vuskovic to them as part of the deal with no option to buy. The kid gets regular minutes and valuable experience in the Premier League.
