Absolutely buzzing lads!

At best, i thought we might grind out a lucky draw like at their gaffe earlier in the season, so to win is just sweeeet! Something felt different today, i know we rode our luck and plenty of misplaced passes but there seemed to be a freshness about the line up, i suddenly felt excited at the players we had on the pitch and on the bench. The transition has started, feels so good to have some of the deadwood out the club. Watch out you Chavvy cunts we're coming for ya!!

Easy win. Mourinho outfoxed Pep here. Brilliantly lulled City into thinking that we couldn't press, pass, retain the ball, keep our shape or composure. And the jedi mind trick on Zinchenko was another masterstroke. Mourinho is a genius!

On a serious note, City's front line was a nightmare. They should have had four goals and scored none. I think they're smart to focus on Champions League, but they aren't gonna win crap if they don't start scoring. But who cares? Three points in the bag and four from the two-time champs on the season. Now if we can only beat the Sheffields of the world we might grab top 4.

Let's be honest, we were very fortunate today. On any other day, City would have have the points sewn up by the hour but the luck was with us today and we'll take it.
Dele is a player that needs to spend time on the bench imo...the games are passing him by. His sharpness is non existent. With Ndombele back now Bergwijn here, LoCelso getting more impressive every game, and Moura a threat always, I cant see how you can justify starting him when he's just not performing.
Anyway, brilliant result and hopefully we can kick on and put a run together. Let's deal with Southampton in the cup now and keep the momentum going!!

What a pleasant afternoon of footy. Us chaps and chapesses in the Park Lane had a great view of the game that had everything, VAR, penalty saves, hitting the woodwork, red card and two wonderful goals. So noisy today as well, the recent lows make these highs even higher.
Sure City were the better team, but it’s about putting the ball in the net. Everyone in white today was on it, putting in a shift, it made you proud for the full 95mins. Even Mike Dean have us a fair crack of the whip, and correctly sent off Zinchenko.

This felt like a huge win, we were singing and buzzing throughout even after the game outside. A turning point? Maybe it feels like it, Eriksen has gone so has Rose and we have some new talent, energy, and a bit of luck. Let’s play with this commitment every game. Aurier is getting a bit better every game, welcome Steven, who doesn’t like Lo Celso and NDombele played for 10 minutes and still looks a real player. Good times ahead?

Lo Celso is looking sharp and doesn't mind sticking a boot in. Great to see.

Tanganga looked comfortable. Aurier was good to, apart from the pen. In this case I think it was right to make the challenge, but he is liable for alot of goals which needs to stop.

I hope this is the start of Ndombele. You can tell he's an absolute baller. Him and Lo Celso in the middle of the park would be very effective for breaking up play and getting the ball forward.

Son needs to play upfront instead of Moura. Moura needs to use his pace to drive forward. Son is trickier in close contact situations.

Agree with all that but slightly disagree with Aurier needing to make the challenge, Aguero was going away from goal, so just needed to shepherd him away, you make a challenge like that in the box and you're asking for trouble.

Good result and well taken goals by the lads. More than made up for our horrible transitions in the first half and the first period of the second half. There were so many good chances to counter that were fucked up by bad passes.

Clearly you cant play against most PL sides and carry not 100% committed passengers,even with any best intentions,if you know you are off it is hard to be focused,and put your body on the line.Especially in midfield,we would have lost with eriksen yesterday I have no doubt,only by giving it all did we scrape the most spawny of wins,you make your own luck,or rather earn your own luck.Spurs fans have been quick to pile into winks this year,how hard must it have been playing one man short in midfield week in?

That was my take on it, we were singing from the off, but were under the cosh and the City fans were as per pretty quiet, almost just waiting for Mahrez to cross to Aguero or Sterling to score (Tanganga did really well all night until Mahrez was substituted) after the save it racheted up a cog and certainly from when Zinchenko got sent off and we scored, the place went bananas. Last 20 minutes was one of the noisiest I can remember. the Jose song was attempted by block 250 and few around me, but still doesn't have any real traction. about 80% stayed to the very end as well.

It felt like a turning point, new team, new energy and definitely much more hard work and desire on show. We got a bit lucky, but you need that in all games. Wednesday night will be another marker, to see if we can back it up with some of the squad playing (I would expect). Many were dead on their feet by the end.
ps We're still missing Kane and Sissoko, Good times ahead hopefully and this past 9 month hiatus will soon be forgotten, the only real casulty being Pochettino - which I still find galling, because if the money is there now it was there last Summer as well (to refresh and rebuild)
