there was a pic in the daily nazi (mail) of jones scoring, behind him was Kane and smalling grabbing harrys shirt like a menopausal bint on viagra at a chippendales gig,would/should have been a penalty if jones hadnt have scored. Some of their more self entitled fans claiming all sorts of nonsense.

I wonder..... maybe if we ditched the stupid pre-season trip to those third world countries and played all our pre-season friendlies at the new Lane?

Maybe we'll have one of those stupid, pointless preseason tournaments of our own like the goons have.

But this time it might actually have a point? I was thinking that myself, we could invite a bunch of top teams to come and compete for the Diamond Kebab Trophy, we would get some quality time on our new pitch so we were ready to batter the fuck out of everyone, including city. Invite the goons to take part, but accidentally put the wrong dates on their invite - and tell them it's fancy dress.

If the stadium is ready it's a brilliant idea. For the match against the Scum we can field our full squad of 50 players and batter them NFL style, no-one said what type of 'football' after all....

Phenomenal performance by us.
Big difference for me was the possession.
We would hunt them down like a pride of lions while they were like a lone wolf, that had been castrated & 3 of its limbs cut off.

We played like we were possessed (it was a controlled apocalypse that ManU experienced). And to watch Mourinho feeling uncomfortably helpless was priceless.

As others mentioned, it could have been much worse for them. 2 nil flattered them.

But, "It's only Spurs".

Our game without the ball was top class, in the last 20 minutes they were completely broken. Nice to win a game so comfortably even more so when our finishing and final ball were a way off.

Just what I was thinking last night. When we started at Wembley it was all 'oh blimey the flipping pitch is too big we can't cope with it, why didn't we go to Milton Keynes', now we own that fucker, the size of the pitch is an advantage, we looked like we had 2 more players than them last night.
Bodes well for us if we can get to the semifinals of the FA Cup.

Just visited the other place.
The posts are a lot more positive, which is expected after such a performance.

Here's a gem of a comment by one forumer:

"Did anyone notice the peg marks on the shoulders of Pogba's shirt... must be after Dembele hung him up to dry ..."

So I’m a bit of a lazy fucker and don’t often take the time to post, but this was my one and only Wembley game and I wanted to share. Indulge me, or go and read a more relevant post, i’ll live.

I flew over with my son over for his 21st, together with the wife and his younger brother. Unfortunately they are all Man Utd fans, due to relentless indoctrination from her brother who’s an STH at OT. Anyway,I bought him a ticket as well - any football influence on American boys should be rewarded. Luckily I scared both lads that they would be beaten to a pulp if they wore Utd shirts, so they both wore Spurs colours. I guess they love me really.

So with my mother long dead, and my sister gone to a fancy little village in Wiltshire (might as well be Dorset) we had to book at a hotel in Earls’s Court. Not 100 ft out of the tube a white van man leaned out of the window and shouted “Beat those northern twats for us tonight please?”. Might have been a Chelsea fan, but i’ve learned not to mess with white van men.

Eventually we got to Wembley Park, and I have to be honest, the walk up to the stadium is a bit more impressive than up to the Lane from Seven Sisters. Maybe that will be different now, let me know. I had to get the tickets form the box office, and the lad who helped me was so impressed that we had come from america. His sole goal in life was to get over there and see if McDonalds was different or not. But I digress...

We had 35 quid seats in section 547, which I believe has a Hertdforshire postcode, but to be fair the view was brilliant. It also felt like we were on the edge of the displaced Park Lane, so once the crowds arrived, it was proper raucous.

And that’s all I can remember. After 10.5 seconds, we were all in a state of delerium. The next thing I remember is being incredibly cold despite being surrounded by 30,000 people all trying to get in the same tube carriage as us.

Oh, I do remember something else - I didn’t have a single drink all night, but it was still one of the times i’ve been the most high.

I’ve been watching since about 1982, but this is without a doubt the best team we’ve had in that time. Thank you to Poch, all the players, and even Daniel Fucking Levy. Most of all, thank you to this proper Spursy ground for keeping me amused.
