Reminds me of that ridiculous game we played against them in the league cup last season

Funny old game part 2
yep.. funny how you can be delighted with a draw . then ecstatic about a win.. then gutted by a draw.. all in about 10 minutes... maybe I'll get drunk and kill some short term memories... at least a few players showed some heart

The fact that these two teams are any where near the top four doesn’t speak well of the greatest league on earth

So glad i didn't get up early for this. Sounds like we got what we deserved. I guess considering the midweek match it's not the worst result. Think we just need to hang around until January and hopefully reinforcements arrive. Maybe.

Yes Richi scored the go ahead goal but I'm honestly frustrated watching him play.
He's low on ability & even his confidence is now shot.
I felt Kolo Muani was far more useful to us in the first half & it should have been Richi pulled instead.
RKM provided more threat & far more movement up front than Richi & BJ.

Odobert ended up being the spark we needed & I hope he continues to provide that.

Sell Johnson.

Just watched the highlights. Tel looks like the hungriest and fittest striker we got, we should use him more often.

Vivario absolutely has to save that header. But his position of being in his goal is fucking awful. It’s a catch or tip over if he is forward by a yard.

Should have been 2-1.

It's interesting that Xavi has had a lot of flack over the past few weeks and yet today the fans are booing the decision to take him off.

Defensively, having Johnson in front of Porro is a "porous" recipe.

Obviously, Frank sees something in Johnson but the vast majority of my negative posts involve his name.

Xavi will adapt, sometimes I think players get caught off guard by how fast the premier league is. He used to having 3-5 touches, now he has 1-2
He had a terrible game against Chelsea, and I have no idea what the stats say, but to my eye he's been gradually improving. You're right, the players talk about it in interviews all the time--there is no time on the ball in this league, especially for a player like him whose job is to receive it in tight spaces and create. He's definitely working hard, pressing and tracking back defensively and looking for the ball in possession. I'm not worried about him.

his vision is getting better.. some of his passes/ through balls are extremely creative,( great lobbed pass for that assist) he's also seems to be starting to realize where/how his teammates want the ball.. In my opinion ( doesn't mean a thing, just ask arachnids) I feel he'll grow into a Premier League player, especially when he gets Kulu ECT back

Adapting doesn't only involve the speed & physicality of the league, or the style of play of your opponents. It's also about getting the know your teammates strengths & tendencies. Trust becomes a big factor.
