yep.. funny how you can be delighted with a draw . then ecstatic about a win.. then gutted by a draw.. all in about 10 minutes... maybe I'll get drunk and kill some short term memories... at least a few players showed some heartFunny old game part 2
It's interesting that Xavi has had a lot of flack over the past few weeks and yet today the fans are booing the decision to take him off.
He had a terrible game against Chelsea, and I have no idea what the stats say, but to my eye he's been gradually improving. You're right, the players talk about it in interviews all the time--there is no time on the ball in this league, especially for a player like him whose job is to receive it in tight spaces and create. He's definitely working hard, pressing and tracking back defensively and looking for the ball in possession. I'm not worried about him.Xavi will adapt, sometimes I think players get caught off guard by how fast the premier league is. He used to having 3-5 touches, now he has 1-2
his vision is getting better.. some of his passes/ through balls are extremely creative,( great lobbed pass for that assist) he's also seems to be starting to realize where/how his teammates want the ball.. In my opinion ( doesn't mean a thing, just ask arachnids) I feel he'll grow into a Premier League player, especially when he gets Kulu ECT backHe had a terrible game against Chelsea, and I have no idea what the stats say, but to my eye he's been gradually improving.
