It's bit irritating all this falling over bollocks and the ref giving them free kicks. It's still anyone's game, if we can hang on and nick a goal that would be triffic. Monaco are a good side on a good run of form, cheating, diving fuckers but a good side so a win would be pucker. We are struggling a bit, but luckilky this is one of those rare two half games so it ain't over till it's over.

Fingers crossed and make a wish that we win this and go on with a repaired Toby.

I'm sure he's alright saying he doesn't think we will win if that's how he feels, it's the whole bashing players, club, coach, chairman endless type of negativity that drives me mad. If he doesn't feel like we'll win then fair enough, they did beat us at home and are unbeaten in their last 6 league games winning 5 of them. Gonna be a tough one today but it's not out of our hands by any stretch of the imagination!!!!

COYS!!!!

Hope you're having a good'n out there @Don Diaz

Sorry, evidently it was a poor attempt at a joke.
I know @spursman18 is a decent guy & poster.

Well, it's not like we haven't come back before

Injuries and the lack of games at WHL have really hampered our progression in this comp

Well in the vain of the new found optimism of this forum I would like to say that at least we tried to do the right things and take the game forward...

... unfortunately we weren't very good at it!

Got to say that we've been outclassed in more than one game in this group which shows the amount of work there is to do to make us competitive at this level. Disappointed but not surprised, hopefully we don't make europa and can concentrate on gelling in the newbies for the league and FA Cup to come.

Still much to play for and Chavs at the weekend COYS!

Pochettino would have been crucified regardless of his team selection

Lose tonight, win at the weekend - his selection paid off but he should had taken the ECL more seriously

Win tonight, lose at the weekend - he should have rested players for such a big league game

That's the spin the media always take, and is always believed by all the numpties

The players out there were good enough to win that game tonight, they are all international players FFS, they are the ones who did not perform.

As for the campaign in general, injuries and Wembley have hampered our progression, but we qualified and received the money for it.

Same again next season and Levy will be happy with the revenue

I mean, Arsenal have been qualifying and not winning the thing in years......but the financial impact is worth it.

Europa league should now be our target, I mean, without all this talk about squad rotation, what will we talk about

We're a little Jeckyl & Hyde at the mo.
Never know which is going to show up.

I do wish we could play with more conviction.
We seem hesitant & lacking confidence going forward.
And where we were so solid at the back, today we looked like Swiss cheese. Gaping holes & if not for Hugo it may have a been 4 - 1 or even 5 - 1.

It's saddening because we worked so hard to get to the CL & we limp out so quickly.

Let's see who shows up on the weekend.

We haven't been good enough for large parts of this group stage to be fair, more solid at the back in the league as less changes to the defence and the few injuries we've had have had a big impact on us but I would have hoped for a bit more from this side. It is a young side and will have to learnt a lot from this. Hopefully we can pick it up in the league now as players are coming back from injury and should be getting some kind of sharpness back. Still got your ropey to play for but I'm hoping for a title push and FA cup now to be honest.

Yeh I think that's about right, time to regroup, bash a few heads together and go again. No better game to get us refocussed than Chavs away!

No excuses tonight we were fucking awful and that's down to both the players and the manager .i love poch but it was clear even before halftime the formation wasn't working we we're getting slaughtered down our right side .winks was excellent but he's not a right winger and trippier was exposed the whole night long.

Shit campaign all in all although I'm glad to have ticked Wembley off the list and met a few forumers.

Pretty much why I don't bank on top 4 and like to push in cups. Group stages always have the potential to throw a spanner in the works.

Really my main concern at this point is no champs league and no league cup mean very few games for a rather large squad. Could be some unhappy players season end. On a brighter note no extra games other than fa cup gives a clear run at top 4 haha.........

Well lads and lasses, bit crap tonight weren't we, second best all over the pitch, thank god for Hugo. Mr Kronenburg 1664 is now taking the pain away. Need the first team to show up, firing on all cylinders on Saturday. We didn't really create very much at all tonight and ultimately got we deserved. Monaco are decent.
