We raised the bar again last year, that's the underlying problem, everyone thinks we should be strolling around walking over teams easily, without looking at the bigger picture and context of this year so far. In terms of the league, we're about where we should be at present. need all the players back fit and healthy.
If you want to be upset its easy, but its also possible to be positive and say yes we have played a bit sketchy, but we are still in a decent position in the league without even clicking yet.The injuries are hurting us but shit happens. If we go out and win at SB saturday with a rested walker, eriksen and tongan then hindsight will be monaco selections werent so daft as they appeared on the night.I could make a good case for whining and bitching here&now, just as a person i prefer to not slag off the things and people I love, being unhappy doesnt make me happy,a paradox that innit!!

For both of Poch's seasons in charge we've been very very good over the holiday period. Don't know what that's down to, but it's fact.

If we can sort of hold serve (or better) through December starting at Chelsea and duplicate that form this year, we'll be in good shape to say the least heading into the second half of the season.

The thing we haven't had in the past two years is significant injuries. Now we have and it's stopping Poch from playing a settled team, that can gel together. I think that's why the passing and movement isn't as fluent as it has been previously. Last year typically our front 4 of Kane, Eriksen, Dele and Lamela, were excellent whilst Mousa and Dier were solid and controlled midfield, with a strong settled back four behind them. None of that has really happened this year yet. Too many forced changes.
